I said that the other day. But then realised that if Villa win tonight, then a Watford win tomorrow can still see us relegate Bmouth on Sunday. They would be two behind Villa and three behind West Ham (and six behind Watford) - and Villa taking on West Ham means they can't both lose.
This Villa runnin reminds me so much of ours a couple of years ago won their must win home game (Palace for them, AFCB for us) Draw due to late goal at Everton The huge winner takes all game (WHam, Swansea) I hope they get same outcome....
I was interested to read yesterday that the proposed match between England and Wales in October will be played behind closed doors. I am supposing that this is indicative of how next season might pan out too. I had visions of the new season starting in September with fans being allowed back in to the stadia by that point. Given the recent outbreaks around the globe in areas previously thought to be Covid-free and the fact that there is likely to be a surge in the winter, I cannot see any spectator involvement in grounds until a vaccine is found and am starting to think that any trip to St Marys will be unlikely to take place until the spring if at all. I have not seen any statements from FA or PL as to when they anticipate fans returning and am assuming this is because they don't believe it will happen in the short term. It looks like 20/21 will largely be wiped out as a spectator sport.
