I couldn't give a **** about whether Bournemouth stay up or go down. They are not on my radar.

The Skates on the other hand I hope they go bankrupt, their ground gets burned down, Portsea Island sinks below the waves because of global warming and all their fans drown off Spithead while ringing that stupid ****ing bell for help which is totally ignored.

As for Bournemouth I hope their fans have lovely days on the beach at Boscombe this summer, that they end up no lower than 17th and should they ever get into financial trouble again I will once more be pleased to put a tenner in the collecting buckets for them at St Mary's.

Not being from the area I'm not too bothered if we send them down or not, just hoping to se some of the young guns make an impression. In fact I don't think I've ever met anyone that admitted to supporting Bournemouth! My missus supports Watford so as long as they stay up I'm happy and I dislike West Ham so would prefer to see them go down

I'm not from the area either but I have seen too many games against Bournemouth where they went down like they were shot and rolled around about 10 times whenever a Saints player went 50 feet of them. The Skates don't even do that. So happy to see them get relegated. Agree about West Ham. No one likes West Ham.

Couldn’t give a toss about Bournemouth really. Had some great holidays there as a kid. Do they still doz Knickerbocker Glories in Rocco Forte’s cafeteria I wonder?

As for the football team; who? Would much prefer to see West Ham go down, but sadly that’s not gonna happen.

I think Saints sending Bournemouth down would certainly stoke up a rivalry if one is debated as existing at the moment! I cannot see anything other than a Saints win, especially if the match tonight is a draw and Bournemouth have something to play for.

Putting that aside, I think what Eddie Howe achieved at Bournemouth was been incredible, especially if you think of the direction the club was travelling in prior to his appointment. More than any other PL in recent history, Bournemouth's ascent is a football fairytale, a team who rarely got beyond the third tier for most of their existence and who narrowly escaped both relegation from the Football League and financial ruin eventually promoted to play with the big boys. I think they have done extremely well to stay in the top flight for so long and perhaps have been undone by injuries this season and a recruitment policy which has largely underwhelmed. Should they stay up, Howe will sort out the muddle for next season but I think they are doomed this time around.

For those saying they're not bothered if Bompey go down, I respect trying to be the bigger person here and playing it down.

However...Do you honestly think if the boot was on the other foot their fans would say the same? ....no. you will get fans trying to play it down but when the dust settled......we would still be relegated and get the ongoing stick for it.

If they go down it's deserved over the season......better luck next time. If they stay up fine.

Win win for me. I like the club so would prefer to see them survive. But I would find it funny if we were to do what they failed to do two years ago and put the final nail in.

One thing I will say though. Is that by judging by posts on here over the past week or so I don't think anyone can throw out the "we don't care about you" line anymore.

Plenty clearly do, and there obviously is some sort of rivalry there for a lot of people so let's not pretend otherwise.

Yeah, it’s starting to feel like a rivalry. So is Brighton for that matter.

There’s only one South Coast Derby though. Let’s be very clear about that.

Yeah it will never come anything close to that as the first game proved, and rightfully so.

Definitely more there than there was 5 years ago though. Saying that it could change if we don't play them for decades again after this.

I didn’t get the Bournemouth love-in when they were getting promoted. I’m an insular bugger when it comes to football. I support Saints. That’s it. My experience living in the North West is that is what fans here do too. No United fan would be rooting for, say, Oldham. So really I should be indifferent to B’mouth’s fate. However seeing them go down would make amends for their arrogant fans who were bloody horrible when they came to SMS. Obviously seeing Pompey miss out on promotion is sweeter!
