Well as experiments go that's not a bad result. As other have said, KWP and Adams made the difference in the second half. What Ralph knows for sure is that we lack cover at RB and CB. We changed 3 of our back 4 tonight and paid the price. But great second half. Great hopes for Smallbone and Vokins (and let's not forget McQueen will hopefully be back next season(...). I hope Ralph realises how important the game on Sunday is to the fans and that's why he rested players. I don't want Bournemouth to go down but not prepared to let them take anything Sunday because we'd never hear the end of it!
I'd be amazed if McQueen ever plays a PL game for us again after his injuries. I'd be amazed to even see him play football again, to be honest.
KWP MOTM for me. He was so positive, always wanting the ball. The last 25mins he was dropping in centrally just to get on the ball. You can tell how much confidence the rest of the team have in him too, as they move the ball to him so quickly, and often when he’s being marked tightly. Let’s hope we can get a deal done
I think Ralph is one of us. He realises how important local rivalry is - we thrashed Pompey, now onwards to Sunday.
I really like the fact that he tries to stay on his feet as well. He's not the biggest or burliest of blokes, but he can take a solid tackle and try to play off it. Impressive.

^^^This. Do you not remember how cocky they were after their only ever victory against us at St Marys? If tables were turned (as they were 2 seasons ago), they would be baying for blood. All I want is a victory and an Ings hat trick.
First half wasn't worth getting out of bed for but loved that second half. Won't notice a bit when PEH goes off to win the champions league. Vesty showed how good Stephens has been. He was caught so far forward at least 3 times and his lack of pace scares me. That would have been a goal of the season contender though if it had gone in. Ings is so good that as soon as that ball landed at his feet - great thinking from Redmond it think - I never doubted he would score. Disappointed for adams, he had 3-4 really good chances but just not sharp enough. great performance form vokins and smallbone was a bit anonymous but great to have them on the pitch. Dominant display for the a team we just need a bit more depth or rotation will almost always be lost points
Praised on MOTD...that’s what happens when you play one of the lower teams. You are said to have played well, rather than the discussion centring on how the opposition let you get a point or three by accident. Not bitter at all.
