It wouldn’t but a service contract is only applicable to its willing subscribers. Commercial contracts often ignore conflict risk and the route to a resolution is nearly always via client concession. What has happened appears to be that the Saudi’s didn’t want the Qatari broadcaster in their region, and there was no willingness to negotiate with the PL prior to them being entangled in a takeover, therefore there was illegal broadcasting at a loss to the service provider for the region. The resolution isn’t that BeIN are allowed into Saudi territory, because the PL have no jurisdiction over geopolitical relations so they have to be the arbitrator, to ensure stakeholders are able to resolve. What happened with the Saudi BeIn fine, I’d bet my last quid that’s the Saudi’s finding a way to make Qatar pay for their own losses. Typical power negotiation and you can guarantee the little guy will get a ****ing drubbing. You only have to consider what the future of BeIn looks like if the Saudi’s are rejected, to understand that this process has an inevitable outcome.
Qatar are gonna eat a big Saudi dick. Simple way to look at it, would Qatar accept Saudi broadcasters after raging their way through the last 3 months? please log in to view this image Neigh.
Mps in their usual 11th hour to stop the takeover Mauriss making comments again Why is that everyone against the deal happens to have had dealings with Qatar
MPs late bid A number of cross-party MPs have reportedly launched a last-ditch bid to halt the Saudi takeover at Newcastle United - according to the Telegraph. The tile claims a letter from eight MPs to Premier League chief executive Richard Masters reads England's top tier "should do everything in its power to bring individuals carrying out human rights abuses to account".
the irony is that it’s the MP’s ****ing job to Put pressure on our government to pressure theirs... Its not their place to try to get the PL to suddenly go all political. Self serving ****s.
I am tired of Nicholson but masters told that fat pleb to his face the test has nothing to do with what he's complaining about
This is the very reason why the PL need to make a decision. Over time every man and his dog will form an opinion. It’s got to be soon. It’s a ****ing shocking situation now. It’s a ****ing shambles. One of the clubs in the PL is literally dying right now. The world is watching it happening and they are just sitting back. The MPs should be doing the complete opposite the ****ing bellends. They should be asking the question “how can you do this to an established prem club and their supporters”. ****ing mps allow a terrorist woman back in the country yet they shout out about poor little toons takeover. Double standard twats!
Honestly I’m past caring. Either the takeover happens before the next season begins or im done. Fed up.
If they just passed it, as will happen in the end, they wouldn't have so many problems. Btw, for context theres 650 MPs. They mustered a resounding 8.
