Its alright for McCann it's not his club that are a laughing stock this week and heading for League 1. He will leave at the end of the season and go somewhere sunny and say to his mates we are all a bunch of ****s anyway. Whilst we plan for Shrewsbury away.
Byrne cuts a confident figure there representing the club and putting on a united front ahead of a match that could decided our destiny. WTF is McCann ?
I can see the logic from the club - avoid the presser being a dozen variations on "are you being sacked/resigning" and just get Byrne to take the heat on "why were the players so ****e on Tuesday and what are you doing to fix it". I would like to hear the club state the official reason McCann didn't do it though - his decision or the club's?
McCanns absence just invites even more questions about him, and makes him look like a coward. It's an awful look all-round.
Just a shame with his experience as a defender, he hasn't been able to sort our defense out. He's Terrys man, so as far as i'm concerned he can go too ASAP
The way things are going, McCann will be the next UK Eurovision contender. He could be a slight improvement on nil point.
The guy couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag, so not sure his singing will be any better; but he is used to finishing near the bottom so he'll be right in his comfort zone!
It's yet another, lack of common sense, why did they do that? can't see the wood for the trees type of thing. Every man and his dog can see the stupid things they do, but they are not stupid they run multi million pound businesses and employ people with skills, qualifications and badges so why do they do it? could it be that they do it deliberately to wind up the fans?
