The mandatory face masks in public bullshit is designed to empower jobsworths and nosey ****s . There won't be any police in supermarkets and they only have the power to fine people up to £100 or £50 if you pay in 14 days . My local supermarkets don't even have security so it's just going to be members of the public enforcing the rules. The only sensible thing would be for members of staff to stand at the door handing out free masks . If people that wear the masks feel like they are less likely to get sick then job done, if the people that would happily take the risk maskless then that's also their choice. It's the same bullshit argument for vaccines, people argue that if a child doesn't get a TB shot and sent to school they could infect all the other kids. If the other kids have had the shot then that should make them immune anyway. Either masks work to stop you getting sick from inhaling particles in the air in which case it doesn't matter or they don't so it's pointless.
I may be wrong but think the idea of the mask was to stop you spreading it if you did have it,that's my understanding of it. Pubs not opening till the 10th of Aug,masks become compulsory and if that was not bad enough some prick on about banning sale of alcohol in supermarkets fs I think it is banned in Japan or Hong Kong not sure which,@monacoger to confirm.
They also banned cigarette sales too somewhere, either South Africa or Nigeria. You'd not be happy if you'd forgotten to go shop the day before...
Fauci said that wearing a mask doesn't make any difference. The W.H.O also said the same months ago .
As Toby said, South Africa. They banned it months ago there and the sale of cigarettes weirdly enough, the 2 things that are keeping their tinpot economy going. They allow the sales if cigarettes now and also allowed alcohol sales for a few weeks but bsnned it again a few days ago.
