If the numbers keep on their current trajectory Trump will be wiped out in the US elections at the back end of this year. Joe Biden is probably the weakest candidate that the Democrats have ever presented to the electorate but it seems the American voters in the Red swing states are going to abandon the Potus and vote for anyone but Trump.
His handling of the Corona virus crisis has been nothing short of criminally dangerous, he has constantly pushed back at the scientific advice and even now is still claiming it will 'just one day go away' 'just like a miracle'. His press conferences to the nation are nothing more than him trying to claim he's doing a great job while he rubbishes his own Administration. He openly disagrees with the CDC and rails against their advice regarding wearing face masks, social distancing, restarting schools and getting America back to work. He is now orchestrating attacks on Dr. Anthony Fauci in an attempt to discredit him because he knows Fauci has the trust of the US public.
The world will be a better place if he loses the elections as would Britain if Boris was to step down sometime this year. You can add Putin to the list but he now has ultimate power in Russia and will have till at least 2036 if the constitutional changes he is touting are voted in by the public.
Capitalism/Extreme Right Wing Government has failed in its biggest test, it doesn't give a **** about the people it's supposed to serve.

There are 3.5 million millionaires in this country. Roughly the same number of people (at the minute) as there are receiving out of work benefits, that will surely go up when furlough ends. That is not fair and just. The system is tilted in favour of the people who least need "help" from their government (i.e. tax breaks for for the rich). Neoliberalism has simply seen the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Not the "trickle down" effect that it's proponents said it would happen. Worst part is it is those in the middle of these two extremes who are paying for this through their taxes to prop up the unemployed and those whose poverty wages require welfare "top ups" to survive not the super rich who use loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of tax.

I'll not hold my breath. Once the Trump fake news bandwagon gets moving against Biden, who knows?
Biden looks weak and an easy target, but fingers crossed that enough Americans have had enough of the embarrassment.

Being here watching the whole Trump thing play out has been just madness. If you vote someone in a position that he’s got off a tv program you deserve everything you get. Make American great again has very sadly gone wrong and to me is the laughing stock of the world. All Biden needs to do know is just keep off the radar as Trump is doing a great job for him in getting him elected. Don’t want to go on a roll about how many things that have gone wrong but maybe to sum it all up is that hate breeds hate. Took 40 years to break the Berlin Wall down but he’s building one here. Too many times I have had to resort to drinking domestos on the rocks to cure my ills. Hopefully things will look a lot brighter in November....

That's the sign of modern day politics where people vote for the lesser of two evils ,sad times.

It still blows my mind that in the space of 5 years for a country of over 300 million the 3 best candidates for the most powerful position in the world is Trump, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden..... That said in our country the best we could do was Boris or Corbyn, That says it all about politics in the world right now

Johnson stepping down would be a disaster for Britain. Look at who would be likely to replace him. Gove, Raab, Patel, with a whole four years.

America is its own mental thing. Let's not try to weld the two countries together politically. The only similarity really is the complacency of the left leaning party leading to bother.

Boris has been a disaster for Britain, especially England. His incompetence in handling Covid 19 compared to just about every other developed nation on the planet has resulted in the current death toll. The man is an idiot, a bluffer, a buffoon, he is the least suitable person to be PM in the Conservative Party. A suitable replacement out of the Tory front bench would be the Chancellor if for one reason only, Cummins would be nowhere near the seat of power.

Sunak's economic plan on COVID 19 will have lost him support in the party. Basically he and Johnson are the slightly right of centre option where the other cabinet members and most of the party are edging further to the extreme. Sunak looks like the natural successor, I agree, but then so did Portillo and Clarke.

As I've said elsewhere, we won't know for years how anyone's response has been. Other countries who've done better than the UK are going back into lockdown slowly and surely. The Eurovision Death Contest isn't over til all the votes are counted.

My sister lives in the States and she reckons the only reason Trump hasn't been shot is that Mike Pence is VP. Apparently The Donald is a bit of a pinko next to him. The mind boggles...
