Blackburn won the PL at Anfield mate. Your fans even cheering them on, the bitter ****s. Premier League titles won at Anfield; Blackburn 1 Liverpool 0
Probably would have been less stressful for you lot if the whole thing had have been called off when we went into lockdown. That way you would have been "awarded" the league and still been able to dream about all the records you could have broken, as it is reality has hit
I know you're only after a bite, but in case you hadn't noticed these games are irrelevant to us. A bit like your season. We're just being generous to all those clubs scrabbling around for a few points to make their total a bit more respectable.
Some perhaps, but I'm no synecdoche for our entire fanbase. I predicted at the beginning of the year that if the league was done and dusted first, then further records would probably fall by the wayside because there isn't sufficient motivation to break them. It definitely would have been nice to break some more records, but obviously the players aren't sufficiently arsed. I'm disappointed to lose, but I'm not at all worried.
Nah, last season was tougher, it was a proper race. This season you have been out there alone to do it, you did chuck all the other comps to get there though so a bit one sided really.
Yeah totally agree I watched but was not mortified I personally thought once the crowds were gone we would never break the record Two seasons playing like we have is immense One CL One SC One WCC One very overdue PL ONE VERY HAPPY FAN THANKYOU LADS Thankyou FSG Thankyou MR Klopp I will enjoy the break
Sod's Law that the two key players to finish the jigsaw should both **** up in the same game. A shame, but soon forgotten. Tbh, I think it's a bit sad that some of our fans are laying into them given the remarkable achievements of the past two seasons.
We only chucked the CL. For the League Cup the team was literally on the other side of the planet, and in the FA Cup we went out to the winners.
