Have to say that us and Everton are both winnable for Bournemouth. If West Ham beat Watford then it could be closer than anticipated a week or two ago. No idea who Watford have in their final two.
If Watford lose on Friday just 3 points could be enough for Bournemouth. Not being hammered tonight might yet prove crucial.
I've said for a while now that Watford's season concludes on Friday night. But at FT vs Newcastle, I wasn't expecting it to necessarily matter. That all changed the next day. But it's almost as important for West Ham too. They have a trip to Man Utd to follow. So every chance that they instead will go into the final day still on 34. Their hope will be that Villa pick up a maximum of one point before then, because that should then provide West Ham with three final day points. But if Villa have got up to 32 or more...
Although unlikely, it is possible for all four of them to finish on 35 points. Alas, Bmouth's failure to draw tonight has ruled out a five-way tie on 36 points with Brighton (not that their GD would put them at a serious threat - likewise West Ham).
I think if Bournemouth could have handpicked anyone to play on the last day, excluding Norwich, then Everton would be high up the list.
Especially with today's quotes about the 1st objective was staying up. That is over kill at war chest level.
All games kick off at 4pm on the last day....it’s going to make SSN exciting.....don’t they show a couple of games and then cut to other games highlights?
