I know we have a major air pollution problem in Southampton, a lot of which is due to the docks and airport, but is this not going to put more people off from going into town?
Probably. I mentioned last week that this could push businesses, struggling to recover from temporary closure, completely over the edge. Plus by reducing the number of through routes, there is more likely to be traffic queues, causing more pollution
