It's always the players faults realistically. We've lined up like this before and it worked well, Chelsea game specifically. The players seriously cannot be arsed anymore, so, why would they put a shift in?
I actually find this squad very frustrating to watch, they can play quite well, when they feel like. Issue is they feel like it 30% of the time and the rest of the time can't be ****ed. They always lose games they should win simply because they can't be arsed. The West Ham, Watford and Villa games are prime examples. Seriously bone idle performances.
Your right. This is the type of game where we raise our game but because we lack concentration we lose because the lapses of concentration against good teams costs you goals. We on the other hand tend to miss chances that are handed to us. Frustrating is the right word aswell. We are and always have been about 2/3 players away from being a good mid table side. But because of them couple of quality players we are always in a relegation scrap. There is a high chance we fizz out and lose this and also the next 2 meaning we finish the season losing 5/5. That doesn’t bode well for Bruce.
Ritchies shot that took the deflection was not even going out for a goal kick. The technical finishing of some of our players is poor.
If the current regime is in place I imagine that Bruce will receive a massive bonus at the end of this season and potentially a contract extension. They couldn't give a **** as long as we are not in the bottom three.
Why is it that everytime a Mourinho team plays against someone, they consistently look ****ing ****e but manage a win?
You pining for the glory days of Pardew, Ben? Me too brother, me too. (Was Mourinho even in the prem then...?)
