http://www.lifesapitch.co.uk/laptv/pundit/alan-pardew-tipped-as-england-manager-for-the-future/ I would lose all interest in international football and would no longer care how England perform until he goes that is That's all AllHell
agreed. just one odious individual. ask rickie lambert for his opinion. ask carl fletcher for his as well.
...they've based this on newcastles start to a season that is only 5-6 games old, surprised they haven't thrown chris powell's name in!
I'm going to see if he is on Twitter and will challenge his opinion. Although I will find it hard not calling him a moron.
ask him...if he really lost his way AFTER west ham...do u look back on his time as a success? created the baby bentley atmosphere and left behind a rancid stench at that club. ask him if he thinks its acceptable for a future england manager to use the word "rape" on a MOTD analysis of defending if we were in the world cup final,....pardew would sell us all out just for a go on coleen rooney.
It's a mindless comment. A character that has failed at his previous 2 clubs in the lower divisions now being touted for England? I'd rather Cappello.
We all think the same about him but he is doing remarkably well at Newcastle with a ragbag assortment of players who look like relegation fodder. Players like the Argentinians who looked great before they came to England and duffers since are playing out of their skins. Will it all turn sour? I have mixed feelings. The Newcastle fans are the most long-suffering in England, turning out in huge numbers only to be disappointed decade after decade, and with a generous and knowledgable appreciation of good football even from their opponents (except Sunderland, of course). It is nice to see them given something to feel good about for a change.
I think he has done well this season, but I haven't bought in to this illusion that Newcastle don't have a good team: Krul, Collocini(lapse in concentration, otherwise a top defender), Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Demba Ba, Jonas, Tiote and Steven Taylor. Plus they have that other French guy from Rennes who was linked with some big clubs over the summer. Pardew is just very good at detracting attention from where he wants it. He is making it seem as if he has taken a team of misfits and built a comfortable Premiership side.
The thought of this turns my stomach and makes me concerned at all those West ham, Charlton, and Southampton fans who will know of some of the reasons he left their clubs. I am sure that if the FA took references from the clubs they would n't all be glowing and the private soundings would show up the flaws that we are aware of. I also seem to think that Mr Brooking might have a say which would outweigh any recommendation from a telegraph journo. Yes - I can breathe again.
Pardew is still in the honeymoon period at Newcastle, give it a bit more time and things will start to go wrong, the same happened with us, West Ham and Southampton started brightly and then fell to pieces. I even believed Pardew would save us from the drop from the Premier League we had improved so much from the Dowie reign but in the end it all went sour just as it did at West Ham and Southampton too
Could make a game out of this. If this ever happened I'd.......... go on a tour of all the old grounds with JA.
Did that happen with Lambert? I thought it was Fonte? We'd probably lose in the World Cup Final and he'd say 'I'm going to play my best team from now'
I just saw the headline and closed the story. Is there any reason why the FA would give him the job? He has the job in Newcastle because he's mates with Ashley. Is he mates with the head of the FA? 6 matches is no guide for anything.
