Those of us who actually watch the games would point towards a huge shift in tactics.

"on the plate points", like Huddersfield away,? Charlton away?, Luton away?, Barnsley home?

Wasn't 3 points enough for the Barnsley home game?

I'm sorry I meant Barnsley away, all four teams I mentioned all currently below the "on the plate" 3 points team of Middlesborough.

No Jiffie is 100% correct In what he says, it’s as clear as day watching the last 2 games Holden has changed tactics and formation, LJ always set us up negatively and we always played not to lose, the last 2 games we’ve played to our strengths and have come out playing some great stuff similar in a way to what we saw early 2017.

If LJ was here we would not have seen this type of performance, we’d have set up our usual negative self and probably would have lost both.

no one can honestly say what would have happened … whether we won lost or drew … there is every posibility that LEE's way may have lost won or drew scores may have been different odd goal in game to our advantage or goal difference better.
There did seem to be an up lift in the Cardiff game [ was odd goal game 0-1 ] and players seemed to be gelling a bit more than Sheff wed game ...unfortunately no one can say what might have been ...other than at some point bad streaks end …

    That's true John
A bit like continuing playing a fruit machine. If you keep feeding it then you are guaranteed to win the jackpot at some point - or like betting on zero in Roulette every time - at some point it will come in and you will win.
I was going to work out the odds of betting £10 on the outsider in EVERY race. At some point one WILL come in and you'll win a bundle.
The thing is; how much time and money are you prepared to spend chasing that win, before you cut your losses.

years ago i had a system and it made a lot of money and the bookie in Keynsham stopped taking it WHEN HE FOUND OUT what I was doing ! certain races [types of races have a high fav percent of wins ] like certain 2mile novice chases and on the flat it ??? I would bet £3;10s every Thursday or Friday ….. place 7 bets at the time @10's yep pre 71 that was a f£3:10s with any to come [ if a busy day with 2 races the same ] on that one paper fav. [ using the sun tipper / sporting life next day ]. target was a 7 horse accumulator but was a double/treble/ 4 timer/ 5 timer/6 timer as well as you stopped after 2 winners / 3 winners/ etc got o 5 once but 4 loads and 3's mega loads after about 18 months he told me to stop or not come in shop took about £1,300 quid from them! about 14 months take home wages in them days ….

    it worked....
first fav comes in at 2/1 [ you have paper sp maybe saying 7/4 ] so should it win at 2/1 you have 30s but the ATC [based on paper fav prediction ] was £1 .7 .6d on the next … so still had 2/6d … second comes in at say 6/4, paper said 2/1 so you get around just less than £3 . 10s but 6 tickets left ! all for free .. 3rd fave comes in a second ticket is profit I regularly got 4 winners often 3 once 5 on one occasion 3rd leg paper had it at about 2/1 or 9/4 but sp was 7/1 !!! it meant when i put on the last tickets 4 5 6 and 7 i was putting on double figures 4 times ..I bottled out only put on 3/4 so I kept the equivalent of 1 bet .. 4th came in at something like 4/5 ……
lesson learned don't bottle out [ actualy after 2 winners took out 10s on 3rd bets ] sometimes the next days bet was a non runner so got carried over

Careful ROD - there’s still a microscopic chance.
Our mate Colin could do us a favour and beat Cardiff
    Birmingham to beat Preston
    QPR to beat Millwall
    Us to beat the Swans

..... then it’s down to the last game!!!!!
