    Glad for City and their fans. Long may they continue taking trophies that "by rights" should be going to Anfield or Old Trafford, or so the supporters of these two clubs would claim.

    Just watched 'The English Game' on Netflix. I am reminded when the Old Etonians concluded the 'gentlemens game' was being supplanted by the working classes and the professional game that followed. Today's result, which is based on 'lack of conclusive evidence' but recognising there was obstruction, has effectively recognised the super clubs are a rule unto themselves. I am hoping now that these superclubs bugger off and form their own super league and we can have a more balanced EPL. Or, am l, simply a Old Non-Etonian harking for something that cannot happen. A sad day for football...

    I don't think you can pin that oñe on me PL. If I ever did make it, feel free to post it up. In any case,isn't it better to see other clubs keeping Manchester United off the top so you can take the p*** with their so-called fans in Hampshire, the West Midlands or wherever they live.
