Good, they get all the plaudits when doing well so now they deserve to hear what many of us are thinking through the local media, the way the manager was talking yesterday regarding" three games to go and we know what to do" has if we didn't know that we've wanted to do since lockdown. Has for Ehab stick his face on the front of HDM with a WANTED sign below it.

Peter Swann in ‘being right’ shocker!

Not quite so sure he was being as forthright as he suggests he was months ago, but I may well have missed it.

There's a point where you have to just say ENOUGH and ****ing have a go. And good on the HDM for essentially saying "You want to ban us? Well **** you too".

Swanny doesn't care about being banned, he only wants to speak the truth.

To be honest, he probably doesn't mind being banned as it means he doesn't have to watch us.

For those who don't want to go on that awful ad-riddled site though...

No investment, fight or leadership with mistakes repeated - Hull City owners and Grant McCann responsible for this mess
Peter Swan is angry with the lack of fight being shown by Hull City

The blame game has already started for Hull City, which probably tells you all you need to know about what chance the fans give the club of staying up this season, writes Peter Swan.

Saturday’s defeat at home to Millwall was just the latest in a long line of pretty awful performances at home this year.

Let’s not pretend anything different, City were really poor and that’s nothing new.

I remember saying back in February and at the start of March the club was in trouble. I wasn’t alone. Fans have been saying the same thing since the start of the season. The form of Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki put the Tigers in a false position but everyone knew when they left it would be a tough slog.

So it has proven to be. It’s clear now just how much Bowen and Grosicki were papering over the cracks in this team. The fans have been calling for Grant McCann to go, which isn’t going to happen with three games remaining.

The blame for this starts at the very top. You start with the owners and the lack of proper investment. If you run a club as a bottom-six Championship or top-end League One side, then don’t be surprised if you finish towards the bottom of the Championship.

The manager has to take responsibility too. It’s the job of a manager or head coach to get the best out of the players he has at his disposal, McCann isn’t coming close to doing that.

If McCann had been dealt a bad hand and had done all he could with it, then so be it, but he’s not even attempting to shuffle the cards on the hand he’s been dealt, he just keeps playing the same losing hand over and over and expecting to get a different result.

McCann says formations don’t win matches. If that’s the case, why is he so determined to keep the formation he has and not change it up if it’s not that important to him?

Formations don’t win matches, it takes much more, but it appears being unwilling to change a formation that doesn’t work can cost you.

Right now, McCann is the only one who can change things, but he’s refusing to do that and as a result, he’s digging his own grave and spoiling the reputation he’d built up at Doncaster.

If you were at work and your business wasn’t successful, would you keep doing the same thing every day or change things up in an effort to turn the business around? The fact McCann has dug his heels in on formation and the club philosophy on how they want to play is crazy.

City are in a fight for their lives right now. You come out swinging and try anything to rectify the situation. And that’s why the players need to accept some responsibility too.

The lack of fight in the side against Millwall was alarming. I’m not picking on Jordy de Wijs, but he’s the club captain so he sets the tempo and is the one who leads from the front. He doesn’t seem to have the necessary character to do that. Where is the fight? Where is the leadership in this side? Where is the passion?

Even when you take all that away, where is the desire from the players to ensure they don’t get a 50 per cent wage cut next season by dropping down a division. I’m seeing none of that and it’s really worrying.

There’s three games to go and I’ve seen nothing from McCann or his players to suggest they’ve got the fight to get out of this mess.

I really hope they now go prove me wrong, but I’m worried they don’t have it in them to do so.

The writing was on the wall after the Brentford tonking, but nothing was done, which sort of makes me think the owners want relegation in order to walk away and leave the club on the brink.

Might be worth checking some Egyptian bookies to see if there was any big amounts of money put on us to go down back when we still had Bowen...

Even if crowds are allowed back next season, I can see many deciding to self isolate to stay clear of it.

Two front page stories that I've read in the (admittedly distant) past were headlined "Boy cuts foot in Goole pond" and "Goole woman loses budgie" - the Goole connection might not be a coincidence.

Todays is a scoop, 'Hull's sexiest 20 people' and Burnys is not on it. He'll be gutted.

Burnsy is a really nice bloke. I've bumped into him a few times.

He cares for Hull City. Was very emotional when when we got promoted in 2008.

We're lucky to have him. He's also very active and supportive of local bands and Hull in general.

Burnsy is an all round good bloke.

Was he on the other side of the street?
Seriously, a seriously nice guy and to quote The Kinks
'He's a dedicated follower of City.'
