Been having a family bbq listening to the game on the radio maybe I should do that more often brought us some luck for a change 2-1 to the mighty spurs have that you woolwich nomads
I preferred our first half but obviously Mourinho thought we too open and put us in lockdown so that we looked completely like a Mourinho team. Didn't like it but LOVE the result. Now I am off to wash my mouth out.
Perfect day sunshine bbq seeing the family for the first time in 3 months and spurs beat the scum cant ask for more than that
Great win...plugged away and tbh had we been clinical and carried an air that suggested we were up for it we would have slapped them by a few more Our errors were individual errors and if the team can have a collective brain upgrade in them then that would solve many issues. Plenty attacking options again today but they lack the eye of the tiger...no fire COYS
Most people say we need to replace Aurier with somebody more reliable I say nonsense: surely it would be more fun to try and find somebody less reliable?
It is amazing what can happen when you have the referee making correct decisions, Oliverpool had a decent game for once today, but he is still one of the worst referees around. All round a better performance and we deserved the win, we limited Woolwich to a wonder strike, 1 other decent chance and a handful of speculative long range efforts, we had far the better chances and Martinez was their man of the match. Aurier was once again a liability, we really need better. (Sheffield United aside) we are starting to look better defensively, take away a wonder goal today and a gifted penalty to United, and we could have another 2 clean sheets since the resumption. Give Mourinho capable players and he will make us hard to beat, which is what all successful teams are built from. Attacking wise we are still not clinical or sharp enough, often wasteful when in good positions, choosing to shoot when a pass would be a better option or picking the wrong pass.
Jose’s never lost a home game vs Arsenal. Thank **** that continued today Anyway I’m off my trolley. Up the Spurs!
