Well it would be nice to know as you hold such strong opinions on this subject. Do you lead a life of abstinence?
I have a strong opinion about the truth. The truth is that the church guidance is absolutely, totally and certainly a way to combat the sexual transmission of diseases.
****in hell ... this stil going! A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this A: I think this B: Well, I think this
If everybody followed the doctrines of the church then there would be no crime either. Should we get rid of the police in the vain hope that everybody decides to be good?
No. That analogy would be a good one if there wasn't already a fool proof way of preventing a crime happening in the first place.
It is entirely inconsequential to this debate how I live my life Med Dog. You need only concern yourself with the facts of the debate and they quite clearly and unequivocally show you to be wrong.
IMO the Pope's probably the most powerful person in the world, if not he's definitely up there. As of December 21st, 2008, there were 1.166 billion Catholics in the world, the pope can pretty much say anything and most of them will do it (within reason, of course) On the contraception front, if I'm correct the only African country that doesn't have a contraception programme is Uganda, they preach abstinence instead, and that's one of the very few African countries where AIDS victims are decreasing.
You can indulge your curiosity all you like, it isn't going to make it any more relevant to the topic at hand. I am flattered that you are interested in me, it just isn't relevant. And for the record, I haven't preached a single thing. I haven't asked you to put your faith in anything. I have demonstrated that your original assertion is 100% false. That is all.
