It wasn't quite clear why they got it, very soft. Striker defender push pull. Not sure who gave it away, I suspect it was solly from memory.

Hollands and Stephens looked tired. They've worked hard so far this season and a little freshness would have been very welcome. Alonso could be that man with Pritch on Erols massage table

just got back from the game and pretty much in agreement with everyone else, a draw is a fair result and certainly a well earnt point, I correctly predicted a 1-1 draw so of course am happy and will take the point we got

to be honest i'm not sure about the penalty I didn't have a great view of it about 9 rows from the front on the left hand side but they outclassed us in the 1st half while in the 2nd half we were much improved and a draw probably is a fair result as both sides should have scored more goals

Green must come in for Wagstaff now, I think Wagstaff has hit a wall now playing at RM and will probably have to settle for a place on the bench, his control was poor and his crossing was catching practice for the keeper, as much as I like Wagstaff it's time for Green to have a run in the team.

Same for Kermit, he has to come in for Hayes, we look so much sharper with Kermit up front

I do think we need to sign a striker in January, a goalscorer at that as it was concerning BWP had to be substituted for a knee injury he picked up. To be honest i'm not sure who the answer is but we need another goal scoring striker, no creators or target men we need a finisher as it worries me should we lose BWP who would actually score the goals. But overall a good result.

    For what its worth...

Hamer (8) - Solid performance and his save in the second half was underrated by the OS, great anticipation.

Solly (7) - Weak going forward, but that was more Waggys fault. Was constantly given akward passes in the first half but did not give the ball away once.
    Taylor - (7) - Solid
Morrison (7) - Solid, although I do think he has to take charge of controlling the tempo from the back more.
Wiggins (7) - Was the weak link in our early season performances imo, but he has been very composed in the last two games and Im sure he will be pleased to know he is going up in my expectations.

Jackson (6) - Poor in the first half, came to life in the second.
Stephens (6) - Poor in the first half, slightly improved.
Hollands (6) - My favourite player but nowhere near good enough
Wagstaff (4) - Zero effect, excecpt when he drifted into the middle. This man is good enough for the team but is NOT A WINGER!

    Hayes (6) - Worked hard
BWP (6) - Not sure if acting lazy is part of his act to make defenders complaciant, but is caught offside too many times from quick distribution from Hamer. When it goes back to our keeper, GET ONSIDE! Otherwise decent game.

    Subs:

Green (7) - The wideman that Wagstaff is not.
Kermit (8) - The target-man that Hayes is not (in terms of physical presence and heading)
Hughes (6) - No time to make an impact, which is good because this guy is highly suspect.

Fans (8) - Great numbers and good spirit that defied the first half performance. Good banter with Morrison.

We will not get promoted playing like we did in the first half, but coming from behind agaisnt a fancied side away on a Tuesday is the ugly side of promotion. COYR!

Nice one JA. Sounds like Wiggins and Hamer settling down more and more with every game that's played.

I think CP will start with the same eleven against Sheff Utd. Could be Scotty's last chance to impress for a while.

I suspect the same Super, I fear that this may hurt us. Green is a must.

As for Kermo, I'm still not convincedit would be fair to dump Hayes, who is still playing well and contributing over 90 mins. Whether he is ready for 90 minutes yet we don't know

I'm a huge fan of Hayes- think he is the perfect foil for BWP and brings something completely different. Would be disappointed to see him lose his place.

Also, we don't want to rush Kermit. He's only had 2 weeks training and about 35-40mins of game time. Needs to remain an impact sub for another month and build that fitness up before he can seriously be considered ''ready'' to start a match.

All for Green replacing Wagstaff but calls for Kermit to replace Hayes are ridiculous imo

Just to clarify when I said that Kermit was the target man hayes is not, i meant that he is a different tatical option. Agree that Hayes deserves his place (for now), but would prefer to see Waggy causing late-game chaos off the bench.

I ahave to agree. Kermit is definitely one who will start for us and offer a dfifferent perspective to Hayes. BWP seems to play well with both, but if he is injured I wouldn't be against Kermit and Hayes or Kermit and possibly Waggy to form a striking pair with Hayes on the Bench. However, even though he has scored he has had about 40 minutes first team football since joining us and less than a full match in all three occasions he has worn our shirt. I reckon we should give him another outing on the bench on Saturday unless the situation with BWP's knee is more serious than we know.

We don't have to rush, he is contributing now, as is Hayes, no need to change the formula. When it does come to it(if it does) then we will see what he can do over 90 minutes, because that might be a different prospect. I.e. Waggy is a great impact sub or a no impact starter, for anyone who watches baseball he's an 8th inning man non a 6&2/3 SP

An educated guess would suggest that Kermit gets his opportunity in the JPT against Brentford next week!
