I've said all along that there should be a 30 second time limit on all decisions. If you can't see a reason to overturn the decision in 30 seconds then it's quite blatantly not clear and obvious.
Actual fans get off their arse and follow their side whether they’re successful or not. Fans of lower league clubs for example, who are never going to see their side win a ****ing thing, they’re the real life blood of the game. Not out of town telly clappers, sat at home cheering on a team they’ve chosen as they were winning **** when they were kids, and think they’re hardcore as they’ve got last seasons ill fitting shirt.
We'll have to get relegated again then, there's no way anyone's forking out to install it at Fleetwood and Oxford That is my worry though tbh, was looking good until we hired what seems like a very astute manager. Now we'll probably be decent again for a couple of years before he goes to Spuds. And we'll have a 'PL 2' before long imo.
I'm not really interested in having this debate with you here whilst in the middle of a decent discussion. We can do this dance on the PL board.
Fans of lower league clubs aren't whinging about VAR taking away their precious 30 seconds. I already posted the graph proving the stadium fans are no longer the life blood of the game for big clubs.
You're getting 'stadium fans' mixed up here with stadium fan's money. Their money might not be missed but the fans themselves most definitely would be.
The stadiums fans are important but they are also in a privileged and subsidised position. Get rid of season tickets and see how much time and money they'd end up paying every other week then.
I don't care whether you personally go to the game or not but without the stadium fans there is no game. It really is that simple (and I'm not talking about the current situation were fans going is an impossibility.) Your second comment shows you have no grasp of just how passionate Liverpool fans (not only them) are.
The LFC season ticket waiting list was closed with 25,000 people on the list. If anyone with a season ticket is whinging about their experience being ruined by VAR delays I suggest they hand their ticket back and see how much they're missed.
So claiming your opinion has weight due to time and money spent is meaningless when plenty of others would gladly take your place.
This ^ I’ve have ST’s and have had for over 10 consecutive seasons now, and I can’t get an away ticket for literally anywhere from the club - ever. I have to rely on a fellow blue with the appropriate credits giving me a ticket when they can’t make it, a corporate seat or sitting with the home fans, which makes away games largely a limited experience for me these days, which I really miss. His comment there just shows he hasn’t got a clue about the passion of actual fans, of any club.
Liverpool don’t do what most clubs do and have the maximum allowable number of STH’s as a percentage of capacity. I think you’ve got about 3 or 4,000 less pass holders than we have, despite a larger capacity, which allows for more fans to get to a game. None of which has literally anything to do with how VAR has altered the actual experience of celebrating a goal at the match and thus the enjoyment of the moment, which is what it’s all about btw.
So if EFC didn't give you the option to renew your ticket and every season you had to apply from scratch you think you'd get to go to just as many games? Or are you in a far more fortunate position than the average EFC fan? BTW how much has your season ticket price gone up in 10 years?
I’ve literally sat behind pillars in 1 of the near 4,000 obstructed view seats at Goodison, on numerous occasions over the 40 years I’ve been going, just to be at the match. You’ve not got a ****ing clue what being a football fan is all about, literally not a ****ing clue.
