This is one of the (many) reasons why the time shouldn't be controlled by the onfield ref. It should be independently controlled and stop whenever there is a stoppage. This will stop any suspicion of either not adding on the right amount of time or adding more on than should be for certain teams. Who the hell now knows how long this match will go on for?
I assume that they know each other, as their time at the club overlapped quite a bit. Lots of loans between them though, so perhaps not.
Brooks looks like he's injured his hamstring. Thought that might be an issue with the long injury break. Harry Wilson replaces him. More offensive sub, I think.
