No I didn't - read it again: he said it was rare for Liverpool fans to come from Merseyside, and at least two-thirds (probably more ) of merseysiders are 'Pool fans. What's more, you know damn well what I say is the truth.
You said 95% of Liverpool fans are from outside Merseyside. So 5% are from Merseyside and that's quite a minority of Liverpool fans.
But still the majority of Merseysiders by a country mile, so your claim that Merseysiders are unlikely to be Reds fans is false.
