We would have just did what the UK has done and borrowed the money. The difference is we probably wouldn't have written blank cheques to charlatans because they were our pals. Fact is this lockdown will cost the people of Scotland far more than it would have If we were independent because we have Tory corruption to pay for as well.

    Stoopit Nay sayers.

If you could actually write/type in proper English you might be taken seriously but that's debatable.

Now get back to your Buckfast.

Christ, you epitomise those skirt wearing racists at the border. Have you got your ginger wig and tartan bonnet on lying in someone else's excrement in your bath?

You are quite patently as thick as your racist leader Knickerless Studgun, another short arsed Central Belter that stinks to high heaven.

I think the Scots could build a great independent country, just not with the SNP anywhere near it, the quality of their politician is dreadful imo

Would a middle ground party have any chance?

Didn’t say they did but UK government cash has helped folks jobs.

After cost of setting up Indy , Uk debt etc borrowing more would be a great idea.

Now is the not right time to be perusing Indy...maybe in 5/10 years

If Scotland becomes independent, snp will split in two maybe 3 parts

Scotland needs a strong opposition party ... same as UK ...

Aye there's truth in that pud the 2 partys in Govt down down south of Ireland both came from a split in Sinn Fein.

Pursuit of Indy... that’s all that matters . Once achieved , you’ll get the left and right fighting . Potentially a socialist /working class party may emerge and probably a Tory Lite type

The UK also has assets ma man. We would have been due our fare share of them. Instead we have had another 6 years of Tory corruption and a period of mythical austerity that has seen the UK national debt go through the roof and now on top of all that we have furlough, mega brown envelopes flying out of Whitehall to Tory contributors and the cost of a catastrophic Brexit!

Aye we truly are better together!

    Fùcking madness!

The SNP are a means to end and, tbf, compared to what's in Downing street they are political geniuses.

Arguably middle of the road parties got us exactly where we are today.

We need a bloodbath to sort it all out.

Why do, even now, people think that Scottish Indy means SNP rule?

    It was never the case.
