I know my patience with LJ ran out before yours 1for, but I can’t help worrying that LJs replacement will have exactly the same challenges and obstacles he had. I’m not expecting a stark improvement. I sincerely hope I’m wrong of course, but I can see things going on much as they have been - only without the LJ debate
I think Lee had input on who to buy but not last word... wish I could find the post that had that cryptic comment from Lee .. IT ALSO MAY BE THAT team selection was only a big part of his job and the other 2 "assistants" had strong influence... but on transfers out most wording came from MA ….. we have ...we have … we have … we do not have much from JL either and SL has been ominously quiet.
Nor am I but I can't stop humming : If you're happy and you know it clap your hands If you're happy and you know it....... 1For ..... Sing up.
LJ couldn’t get the best out of this squad of players that we currently have, the new manager will come in and be surrounded by some very good players, so I don’t see how he’ll struggle to get the best out of them unlike LJ if they are played in the right positions and aren’t being flooded with Mumbo jumbo speech.
nothing is certain in this life what would the new "head" do should there be a system that 3 coach's all have their say? will he turn around and say out with present staff and I want to bring in my own …! fancy taking a pay cut then getting the sack!
