He wouldn't believe his eyes if he could see what was haooening. Always makes me laugh to think that is a one way thing.
I have a really really wide taste in music but it has to have certain things (at least two of three), great lyrics, a good vocalist and great musicians. This **** has none.
The final battle of the revolt ended with thousands being crucified along the Appian way ... Hollywood may have glossed it but Crassus took no prisoners ... was a deliberate message to the slaves back in Rome ...
I do wonder what the thought process would be if Africans had come to Europe and captured millions of French, English .Germans etc And enslaved them .
Gannagus (sp) got crucified, not spartactus.... Spartacus got ****ed over on top of a hill, when crassus was down, and got 2 spears in the back and leg.... there's a few on here who know about this Roman/spartacus stuff...... Just try watching Spartacus the series...Mind it's a hoot.....it's like one of your old porn films.
The history books I read suggest he was likely killed in the battle but his body was never identified ... and the Romans would have just loved to have paraded his body ... it's what they did.
People forget (or never knew) that we were "enslaved" too after slavery was abolished. Cotton mills used to use people for 60-80 hours per week, when they got paid their pittance the only place they could spend it was the company shop, oh, and they lived in company houses dependant on their job. It's not a colour/race thing, it's a class thing that has only been beaten (reduced) by all people fighting together.
So not crucified then, as the Kirk douglas one? I've just told you what happened to him....He got ****ed over in a scrap with crassus..... anyway, still a great story
As I said ... he was either killed in the battle or was one of the thousands crucified ... either way the Romans never identified his body or he would have been put on public display
you watched it all? i've seen it all several times now.....maybe they should have this as history classes at school, no one would skip lessons
