Ah specifically about LJ ok, not generally about vitriol.

One day the books/interviews will come out and then you will hear some of the reason for that vitriol, I cannot see any tears from former players about his sacking.

PS:- I personally wish him no ill, I suspect he will get another job pretty soon. My problem was always the annual seemingly endless winless streaks and the BS annual excuses that followed those streaks. It was obvious to me that on Wednesday he was advised to be more magnanimous in his interviews, but I feel it was too little too late, the damage with the squad had been done.

PPS:- I hope he gave the big screen for the academy back, that was expensive.

Hughton now odds on at 4/5, Lowe drifted to 7/4, with skybet.

The odds are based on where the money is going. LJ was long odds when he was appointed.
Do you honestly expect the board to do a quick turnaround? Last time was SoD and we all know what happened there.

Skybet is different because they also have inside knowledge and that will influence their odds, which will almost always be different to most other bookies.

I honestly don't know what to expect with BCFC after 62 years of support, I mentioned David Blunket's guide dog, I wonder the odds are for him/her?, all I would say if they prevaricate too long it will not be good, the closed season is looking like it's going to be short and also any new man will have 5 games + training to run the rule over the squad and decide who might need to go and who he might need to bring in.

Come on 1For, have you forgotten that you wanted Roberto as our manager back in the day.
SL has belatedly realised he's been taken for a fool by the Johnsons.
    So pleased.

    Hughton, Lowe, Robins.
Happy for any of the these 3.
Mentioned on OTIB is the Wally with the umbrella. Do not want him.
Who do you want or are you staying on the fence.

totally agree RA its called closed minds .. a pre emptive motivation of the thought process that does not allow for fairness because it they or what does not fit their own wish ….. a slip into the positive is usually masked by numerous negative aspects which helps them to accept their stance [ excuse ]

Like I said, none excite me whatsoever, Hughton's a one trick pony, must get it right in first whole and a bit season, is rubbish thereafter, (Norwich, Newcastle, Brighton) Robins has done nothing of significance, failure at most. Don't know much about Lowe so I'm staying on a very high fence and see what we're served up from what's available!!

ROD … I have said on here many times, when I post I always attempt to be as accurate as possible when unsure I check... as a friend once said i would give my spleen to have a memory like yours …. its not photo grahic and by no means 100%
but in the majority of cases i am close and when not accept it …
from wiki which I contribute to ……
    Barnsley
On 25 February 2015, Johnson was appointed as the new head coach of fellow League One club Barnsley, after an undisclosed compensation package was agreed between the Tykes and Oldham Athletic for the services of Johnson and his assistant Tommy Wright.[26] His first match in charge was a 1–0 victory at Gillingham, which occurred three days following his appointment.[27] Despite taking over the club whilst they sat sixteenth and were underachieving,[26] Johnson guided to the club to an eleventh-placed finish, after their form resulted in them picking up five victories, six draws and three sorrow defeats. …… CONT:
He had also led the club to the Football League Trophy final, in which his successor Paul Heckingbottom managed to claim the cup win.[He left Barnsley on 6 February 2016 FOR Bristol city.
MORAIS over 2 years after LEE …. Heckingbottom caretaker , then manager … then moved to LEEDS was sacked after a few months and went to Hibs a year later and lasted about 8 months where is he now?

and you don't think the others have inside knowledge?
betting on managers is like betting on pre season football they aim for 30% on the book and know there is only 1 bet to pay out on so odds move accordingly to entice or put off --- I once got 100/8 on a greyhound THAT SHOULD NEVER HAD BEEN THAT PRICE … was in right place right time ..... dog was 7/1 [was waiting for 8 or 13/2] before and its sp 4/1 ... favourite was 4/5 sp and backed like crazy every time 1/1 or better showed … had put a tenner on the tote it paid 5/2… dogs name was call me cute and i won well over £100 in the early 70's
