I have seen guys dressed like this complete with misspelled ‘family’ at races in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain and the U.K. They may be haters or they may be fans, it’s hard to tell, but I don’t think they would have been haters at Silverstone.
I can find no record of this happening at Silverstone. We’re not doing ‘it’s a term of endearment’ now are we?
I think it was Mel Brookes who said that no matter the Holocaust, the Jews all still drive Mercedes because they're the best cars.
I’ve got a VW on my drive, does that mean I’m a Nazi sympathiser and can have no opinion on racism? Just checking.
No, it just means you have moved on from where the money behind VW came from and like their cars so pay for them. Hamilton is happy to take the silver that Mercedes got from tragedy yet want's to be portrayed as caring. Different situation maybe?
Do you wear Adidas or puma ? Basic fact is, it's not only blacks that have been persecuted down the centuries... We can shape the future...But by ****, can we change, or be held reponsible by the past.
For me here the difference is symbols of recognition, so by that I mean statues as one example. Now we could all argue that maybe we shouldn't accept certain types of medical science, that may have seen the pioneering of it by the Nazi's, but we don't, because you don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Yes, you could argue that Hugo Boss made Nazi uniforms, but it's not quite the same as wearing a swastika NOW. However, even then on the latter, some education is called for... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29644591 Only one thing I would ask not knowing my history that well, would be, surely if both companies were using 'Jewish slaves' as you call them, then that was temporary halting of their extermination;
People forget (or never realised) that white man was not the only slave traders in the past, they also forget (or never knew) who abolished slavery.
