A man after my own heart. I love a challenge but these days my body ain't up to it. Loved playing football but it left my body a wreck. Still I do find physical challenges to commit to. Like digging out 2.5k bin liners full of man made waste from my local river. I'm now on removing invasive non native species from the river. Having a go at removing himalayan balsam, reckon there's a good 10 years graft there
Can't play football anymore. Takes my knees a week to recover. Jogging is out for the same reason. I tend to do cardio on a rowing machine. Strength training is harder thesecdays. ****ing old age.
Yeah, I like grinding myself into the ground physically. It's a weird thing but I love it. And if I can look back on an improved environment when I'm finished, all the better.
running sucks now... cardio in general sucks.. I don't like all the hiit workouts at all.. I think it's bad for you unless you're already fit and have an active life.... then there's **** like p90x... the guy that put it together had some kind of nervous system breakdown and it ****ed him up ... says it all... it's just too much... people want fast results but 80% stop after 2 weeks to 1 month because it's too much for their body .. some push through and it can be very damaging... consistency is the way fwd ... a little every day and build slowly.
Half an hour on the rowing machine, two or three times per week. HIIT is a killer if you aren't physically fit. It's okay to do once per week. Anymore and you are asking for injury. Most people want to look muscular. You see these idiots that bulk up and do zero cardio. Unfit as hell.
boxing is a good way to keep muscle and lose fat... I learned Cuban footwork and even that takes it out of you just moving around a bag or just an x on the floor for months ... then add in a few combos... best way to keep fit and if you get into a situation in town you can deal with the untrained aggressive arseholes every time...
Boxing training is immense. Strength, endurance, power and cardio. Basic skipping is still the greatest bit of cardio equipment in any gym.
I'm not master but I can box a bit.. did judo got a few belts .. I just like doing all sorts until I reach an intermediate level or whatever my goal was when I started.. I never get stuck on one to master it... it's too much for me I guess so I move on
The PL can probably see that Qatar are trying to turn this geopolitical. Small man syndrome. We now know that PSG's owner is terrified.
get it tried...the thing I learned was that no matter where I go or what i try there's others starting the same thing and the others there were all me at one point in time, so they want you to succeed. I used to worry I'd be laughed at... the people that would laugh would never be there.. they'd be wasting their talents elsewhere
