Would love Nedum at the SOL - great in defence, always making runs forward to help out the midfield ... class

when they are giving away adebayor, santa cruz and bellamy (collective price £50m), they're having a laugh if they think we'll pay £8m for nedum. he's class, but his career with city is done, and i reckon we should pay no more than £5m for the lad.

i notice you legged it from the bardsley thread pretty sharpish after you told everyone he needed a new contract.

face it, you don't know owt so stop spamming our forum, if you're a mackem i'm ziggy stardust. £8m a steal compared to bent or torres maybe, but we buy players in the real world, ie sessegnon, elmohamady, we will not piss away £8m on a player not worth it, when we are in a strong position and city won't bother negotiating because they don't need the money.

8mill, is too much, in the summer window there will be a lot more choice, more of a buyers market. Nedums cost Citeh virtually nowt, so if they are letting the big money signings go for peanuts, why should SAFC be monkey enough to pay over the odds? Billysmarts got it in one.

of course he's not worth £8m you maggot, again, we do business the right way, and there's no way city will be tough negotiators because they don't care about the money. you're just giving it the big i am, as per usual, for some reason (your inadequate, empty excuse for a life, that you've never known the touch of a woman, that you eat dog food all spring to mind), and reckon you know more than the rest of us. we will not pay £8m for onuoha, though i reckon we'll sign him.

well done for going back to the bardsley thread after i mentioned it by the way, once again you've shown you know nowt, he clearly has signed a new contract, hence the past tense used by himself and bruce when discussing it. you moron.

no he hasnt, your the moron, once again you have spolt a thread by choosing to be abusive when i expressed my opinion on the matter. i hope the mods have actually seen this as i think this proves my point that an opinion is expressed and im immediately set upon. were you bullied or something?

nice one bill, i'd love us to sign onuoha and think we will but i can't see us paying that much, our track record under bruce has been to negotiate very hard or walk away - look at hutton last year, there's no way we would pay £8m, and in any case, i can't see city playing hard ball, they've let far more valuable players leave for less. £5m tops, but i'd love us to sign him.

actually "big chris", you were the one who started off condescending. i can take the spam, pathetic and pointless though it is, but when you have a pop at my integrity, i'm going to out you for the complete and utter fool you are. i think you'll find this would have been a decent topic without your two cents.

some advice - remember to switch hands every so often, you're going to strain your wrist if you keep it in old lefty as you whack off to your genius posts all day, every day.

my problem is you spam articles on this forum, you lie, misrepresent staff at the club i support, report things other have found out as your own information. all of which i could let lie except you are then condescending, and at times downright abusive, towards members of this forum. you are not humerous, there is no intentional irony to your posts, you just clog up the board with your rubbish. case in point, nedum onuoha is not worth £8m, and we will not pay that, any sensible sunderland fan can see that, but you act like you are more in the know, that you know better, and have a go at us. example 2, you state that bardsley hasn't signed a new contract, and yet when posters show he has (interviews, articles), you come back with some garbage saying that it is all lies, that you know better when you quite patently don't.

billysmart, just ignore big_chris, its the best way to avoid him lowering your iq and also the best way to make him go away mate.

for my 2c, hope we get nedum, mensah and wellbeck, not that fussed about elmo tbh, good runner but i think he shoulda been a sprinter instead of a footballer, doesnt seem to quite know what to do after charging from our box to theirs w/ the ball

    I'd just pay the £8million.

He's young , strong, athletic and consistent.

We have a good relationship with City, we want to keep it, Nedum is a good fit for the side, that makes his value to us higher than his 'actual value'.

£6million is about his price, but if we have to pay £8million, then do it.

soul - i'd rather not ignore anyone, but will probably make an exception here, until he changes his user name anyway.

i don't know about elmo, as i understand it we have an agreed price of £2m, and sometimes i think that's a steal, sometimes not. i think for £2m (it's not my money at the end of the day), he would be a good player to have in the squad, and he's young so may improve the parts of his game that are lacking (ball retention, composure, tackling). he's a speed merchant who puts himself about a bit, can head the ball well, and sometimes crosses like david beckham, so for a 23 year old in his first season outside of his home country (and the epl is a big step up from the egyptian league i'd say), i'd be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't sign him though.

as for the other three, definite yes. i would be perfectly happy if we didn't bring in a big money striker in the summer and broke the bank to get welbeck, sign someone more physical up front and then maybe a winger, with mensah an onuoha permanently.

Turning Hutton down for 9 million could have been a mistake so 8 million isnt abad shout considering hes young and English.

Although this story is based on what truth? Only safc & Man City know about any deal so this newpaper is talking bollox like all others
