I had positivity last week after that masters interview and honestly I thought we would have had some concert news by today. But absolutely nothing. It makes you wonder if the companies house movements by staveley is in fact a speculative attempt for the takeover (similar to the Barclays deal) and that it hasn’t paid off for her. Like she approached Ashley and set the deal in motion, then approached PIF and they have turned around and said no we are not interested or initially they where but because of the PL owners yes carry on they have indeed decided the exposure is to much! Remember normal deals for them will not have so much external scrutiny. She then has to fall back on her Barclays case for the money to complete the takeover? I don’t know. I don’t think it’s just the PL that are dragging their feet.
People have been sucked into his bit about it being done shortly and we all thought days when he meant a couple of weeks On the other hand the PL have failed it and they are appealing. Or the PL have agreed the deal and it's down to the consortium to announce once funds transferred but in this scenario that would just likely happen next week due to time scales.

Potentially, however there is one stand out document. Staveley has become a person of significant interest within company JV1 - owned by Reubens Brothers. She has agreed to a charge over her assets in favour of the Reubens. A charge in exchange for 50% share ownership of JV1. So, at the very least, she has the Reubens Brothers on board. This charge isn't linked to the Barclays case.
