All these 'air bridges' opening are a boost, I couldn't care less whether anyone thinks it's been done 'wrong'. **** that, don't care.

It means, as things currently stand, we're going on holiday in a month and won't have lost any money or anything. Absolutely need one but am more concerned corned with getting the kids away and changing their current environment.

All also appears to be relatively 'normal' for when we get there.

Anyone else got something booked that they can now go on?

Where are you going?
We booked Florida for June a couple of weeks ago. Had a quick look today and price has gone up by 1200 quid. Pretty pleased with that.

 

Yeah I spent 2/3 weeks ummimg and ahhing and have probably missed the boat now in terms of deals. Will likely do a couple of small trips here n leave abroad til next year.

 

Planning to get to Dubai sooner or later. I’m fortunate as someone low risk albeit nobody is no risk but sitting on a plane is one of the more likely ways of catching it.

 

I’ll probs just go to Portugal back end of September.

 

France, via the ferry.

Portsmouth to St Malo then Santander to Portsmouth coming back.

Not gonna lie, would be less happy on a plane and the way we're travelling is absolutely ideal under current circumstances.

Yeah we are the same with flying. Not keen at the minute. It’s about 11 months until we go so hoping it all calms down by then. If not, we just won’t go. **** walking around Florida in summer wearing a mask.

Im on my fifth Guinness. Going down a treat. Got some Aberdeen Angus burgers which I may end up too pissed to cook. Had my first maccies yesterday, two double cheeseburgers. Was glorious.

Paella tomorrow night if I remember to go buy saffron. Also have a couple of nice bottles of red have a Rasteau and a Beaujolais.

 

Rasteau is da bomb.
