    Yeah, Ellis sort of instilled some ambition in us, didn't he? And we don't want that sort of thing round here. I get what you're saying. Bruce and division 3 would be so much better.

    Agreed! I'd rather watch us play one up top at boundary park on a cold Tuesday night than spend 10mil on another striker.

    The title of the thread did shock me, but when you read it, it was obviously done to bring attention to all the doom and gloom that is around at present, and how things could be without Short...

    Stabalised us as a premier league club.

    Got rid of our debt.

    Funded transfers to bring in big international players.

    Allowed us to dream of Europe.

    Allowed us to be unhappy with a top half finish.

    Turned us into a bigger brand outside of Britain.

    Improved our business model.

    Improved the SAFC foundation.

    Not ****ed off and left us with some sort of Steve Gibson character who can't realistically take the club forward.
