Not very convincing at all, looks like a man who's run out of things to say. Wonder what he keeps looking at to his top right?
I hope upon hope that somehow some inspiration finds it's way into our dressing room .. but listening to that clown it wont be from him. We are in desperate need for a Curtis Davies moment in the dressing room (think it was him who gave a half time inspiring rally). Come on boys .. play for the shirt .. play for pride .. and play for the City. This IS the defining moment .. fight like your livelihoods depended on it.
If we lose this I think heads will drop and with 2 tough away games to follow I'll be fearing the worst. On the up side, if we win it might just be the turning point we've been waiting for! UTT
Big performance required tonight from every single player. We can beat this mob if we get in about them from the off.....2-1 for us!!!
Really hope you're wrong but history isn't on our side. I mentioned this on another thread last week but we always lose this type of game. Sunderland at home in '17, Burnley in '09 and '15. Bristol City and Cardiff in '13 when promotion was at stake. Ok not defeats but we ****ed up.
Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst, the fact that our record on sky isn't all that brilliant, doesn't help.
The form table, and not just recent 'last 5' type form, doesn't lie. We are shockingly bad. No reason to think we will win another game this season given we haven't won one in our last 14 games, which have included a few batterings and a few loses against fellow relegation strugglers. Not being negative, that's just the facts. How McCann is still in the role is beyond me. But we live in hope Let's hope tonight sees the turnaround.
Unless we change something then no we won't win, Birmingham give us the room to play Saturday but not second half and we so the difference. Tonight I think Warnock will have Boro closing us down quickly. When you have been on a run like we have you start to wonder if you will ever win again. Of course I will be hoping for that long awaited victory. On paper they have three very good forwards so can our defence handle them, getting some clean sheets would be a good start.
