he looks to pass on the floor in right areas ... if you want to have more possession you need players that can do that.. it's a very difficult thing to do and doesn't jump out as being ... it is.
We were watching different matches, he brings nothing to the team, he lost or gave away the ball more times that he made a pass and is not better than those currently in the team
Asm was just class. But honestly I think every player was playing for their careers. Not one played bad. Miggys finish reminded me a bit of Alberts goal against manu. He looked up last minute and seen the goalkeeper in a bad place and just dinked it into the top bin. He’s starting to show us what he could do in a more attack minded team.
As bad as Bruce approached the Man C game, credit where it’s due that was exactly what was required tonight. On them early, pressing and getting our good players into good areas. They are clearly poor and at a low ebb, but our passing was crisp and slick. I’m sure those not being objective will say “ah but Bournemouth are ****” but it was a good display from a well coached team tonight. Don’t know where Longstaff plucked that from, but him, Bentaleb and Shelvey controlled that game with quick tidy passing. His finish was good too. Then ASM did his thing. Almiron good again. Gayle as usual shows he can do it, but **** knows if he will repeat it. I don’t rate Kraft at all. Carroll looks half the player who left us. If Bruce can’t see Joelinton is a wide player now, then he needs to go to Specsavers. I said I didn’t know if there was anything to work with but he looked comfortable today. His body language from the off was better. Thought he played ok. Centre halfs were excellent, and Manquillo just gets better every game. By not being seen, going about it quietly, I can think of a few good full backs who have had that said about them. Subs were good and all round Bruce had an excellent night. Move to 45 points with win against West Ham at home. Pretty impressive given what was expected. Nice to be safe and they all deserve a pat on the back in my book.
