Quite an interesting, non-bitter, discussion. We started on the relationship between our two clubs. He reckons we dislike united more than Everton because we don't see Everton as a threat. He even started talking about the possibility of them going down this season. I can't see this happening, but he was bemoaning the lack of quality in the team, and that they are starting matches without a striker on the field. I explained that I'd never hated Everton, but had always disliked united. We then got onto the relationship between them and united, and he agreed they were their feeder club. He then went on to say that, with the phoenix-like rise of citeh, united would start hating them more than they do us. What do you think? will the mancs turn all their hostility on their closest neighbours, or will they always save their harshest bile and vitriol for us? Mancs feel free to comment on this. Did you show him the Hammerhead? On a serious note - a similar thread was started a while back on the Utd board and the main consensus seemed to be that we will remain Utd's main rivals. At least until City actually have 15 or so league titles and some European cups to their name.
You won't be surprised to learn that I don't know how to. I suppose they'll be a bit thin on the ground here today, after last night. On another thread, you picked a top team with me and Dave up front and you on the wing etc. Would you be player-manager, or would Kenny still hold the reins. We could still have The Hammerhead on the bench, even though I'm playing up-front. Now that would be an impact sub
I was ****e on the wing but seeing as it's a virtual team I'll be awsome. Someone (not me) should post this on a cross thread with the mancs. And whoever did that Football Manager thread a while back where they changed the names or if someone else knows how to do it, we could have a virtual match and stuff the mancs with me scoring a hatrick. We could do it just before the game on 15th.
