Absolutely and why not. They are there to raise the profile of the premier league on a global stage. If it means they make a few quid to be redistributed to the 20 premiership clubs that’s also a win.
It does look in my opinion that the deal has been scrutinised on a mega level. And so it should be. And it looks like it’s been proved beyond doubt that the takeover will go ahead and without prejudice. The process is open to scrutiny yes. But additionally it’s also probably the one time where the PL have had to cover their own backs.
And he could just say prove we have done anything wrong. We have done our due diligence it’s all legal and above board. The Saudis have addressed the piracy. The murder accusations are totally irrelevant albeit sad but a murder cannot be pinned on an organisation. PIF is a fund that is funding the purchase of the club. But the directors who are going to take the reigns of the entity that is taking over the club are not or cannot be linked to the murder. It’s on pal it’s ****ing on!
Gonna soak in the positivity here from usual downers before they get right back to their normal selves tomorrow evening.
I agree it will be a defendable decision , but you've only got to read the papers misinterpretation regards the WTO report to realise the masses have been brain washed into thinking things were worse than they in fact are.. They will go after the premier league and masters personally with all their might .
I honestly think after watching that video it will be approved. It might take a while and there might be conditions to be met to cover everyone’s arse connected to it but the PL HAVE to ensure it’s watertight. The legal challenge afterwards comes from who? Bein - for the takeover to be successful the issues must have been addressed. Cenzig - Ok if she challenges this then that opens a whole new level of **** storm. That would have to question ALL deals PIF are involved in! EVERY SINGLE DEAL! The government - nope, they (according to the fat jock) have influenced the PL decision towards approving. WTO - piracy is being addressed. No issue here. Other premier league clubs - no chance, they are all owned by equally dodgy owners. If they raise objection then the PL could turn their heads towards them. Chelsea - RA can’t even get a visa in the uk. Man City - have had their knuckles rapped. I could go on. There won’t be any objection because they all have skeletons in the closet. Who else is there? So who could legally challenge it. I’m in the it’s on camp and I’m staying in it.
It’s about the balance of probability mate. In the absence of evidence it’s natural to assume the worst. This masters interview does say a lot. Without actually saying a lot. It proves the takeover is still being assessed. Which means it’s still on. It also proves that The checks are being seriously done. Not just hidden agendas. **** me masters said more in that interview than we have had since this takeover was instigated.
I loved it when he took an unnoticed swipe at the MP. An objective test - 'I don' t care about your opinion or your views on the Saudis. Our test is based on objectivity and morality has no place in it. '
Times have changed, these things take time and the days of everyone chatting to the press like amateurs is over. It's always been on, pretty much everyone with any clout in the sport has been presuming as much for months. I think only a very few media people on a very ****e social network have been saying otherwise and some have taken it all far too serious. The Mag released an article saying its on and then a few hours later released an article saying it could be off. The utter drivel that has been written on some platforms has been embarrassing and I truly hope from now on absolutely no one who supports Newcastle ever uses The Mag for their news. It's a piece of **** site.
Absolutely. I honestly think masters was getting annoyed but he also came across well. The jock was just trying to provoke him.
He was getting noticeably irritated. You can tell when he looked away from the camera. Trying to hide it. He came across well. Confidential process. None of your business.
For an MP who wants to break away from the United Kingdom as soon as humanly possible he's extremely interested in English football.
It’s not easy trying to pick through the ****e that most websites spew tbh. I honestly don’t trust what most say but bumpy reading it all, picking through the crap you hope to paint a picture. Having said that until today the only actual evidence we had was some document at companies house and all the crap the websites have spewed as a result. Today masters effectively and for the first time cleared up that the takeover IS still in progress.
Just like that other twat from jockland (mp) who tried to put his face in the mix who has a erm dodgy past!
Was it me or did Masters cleverly bypass confidentiality and NDA by covertly telling fans where the test is at?
