Wishi, no team has scored more than 11 goals in the first 4 games and gone on to win the league. It is a matter of time before this catches up with City and Utd and everyone will be talking about how they were playing at the START of the season and where it all went wrong. You heard it here first. <ok>

Apart from the Spurs game most of our defensive issues have come from silly mistakes (Flanno - inexperience, Carra - being stupid x 2). Utds defense and midfield have allowed them to concede a lot of shots this season. As soon as teams decide not to keel over for them and stand up for themselves they will start to drop points, starting at Anfield on the 15th. :)

Utd are a one-man team with Rooney, and citeh have taken their eye off the ball.

All this hoo-ha over Tevez as well, OK, he's a wally, he's taken them for a ride but he did want to leave in the summer and citeh said no. They took his captaincy away, too, wtf did Mancini expect, gratitude?

Would have been better without the late equaliser, Wishi.

Did they say No? I thought a deal nearly went through and fell at the final hurdle, not too sure though to be honest. Taking away his captaincy was the correct thing to do, he no longer wanted to be at the club so how could he possibly be captain? I know he must be fuming with Mancini but at the end of the day he gets 200K(ish) a week and has a contract - It's not about gratitude it's about professionalism, exactly what Tevez lacks in abundance.

I did enjoy last nights results though <laugh>

I did enjoy last nights results and the last game week of CL too, bar the Chelsea game. Although I think Utd will come through by the end, they always do. Just like we came through in the 07/08 season when we came through our first 3 CL games with just 1 point, then thrashing everyone in our final 3 games. Oh how I miss the competition.

No it was about 30 seconds before injury time,so not too lucky this time.
Like everyone else I wanted them to loose but you have to give them some credit, they do this too often for it always to be luck and I am old enough to remember a time when Liverpool did the same,in fact we were famouss for it. Manure throw everyone forward and the reason they get these chances at the end is because they flood the box and have men over..e.g Ashley Young. You almost expect it now in fact it would have been more of a surprise if they hadn't scored.

Ah dont worry Liverpool fans. We have a vast array of talent missing at the minute and we still picked up a point against a very good basel team. They were up for it and showed more desire in one game than the rest of the PL will show at OT all season.

Also didnt the Swiss beat spain in the first game of the world cup last time around? Swiss football isnt that bad in actual fact. Very much on the up.

I agree, thats why Man United are in for a ferocious beating of the highest order on October 15th. Similar to the one dealt on them in March. You saw what happened when Stoke stuck the boot in. Man United cannot handle teams tackling their players, Anderson and Carrick are pussies and the only thing Giggs can tackle is a bird with massive jugs.
The key to us destroying them is Lucas. Lucas is one of the most annoying footballers in the premiership. He will follow them around the pitch, it it were against the law he would be done for stalking. He will bully, them, he will torment them, he will annoy them, if he needs assistance, he will have Steven Gerrard beside him.
This allows our offensive four to do as they please. It makes Uniteds attacking force useless. Win the battle in midfield and you've won the game.
Suarez shouldn't have much of a problem taking the piss out of Jones and the awful Jonny Evans.

Jolly good ****tard. We look forward to the game and will enjoy some banter with the other liverpool fans after the game no doubt.

If you win and we are still above you ( as we will be lets be honest ) then we will laugh at you like we laugh at leeds fans. Small time mentality over beating one of the big boys. Pathetic really.

But seriously man, dont end it if we win, its not the end of the world no matter what you think. There is life outside of Manchester United, even for our biggers fanatical haters.

Liverpool will have to play one of the big boys in order to beat them, Liverpool aren't playing a big club... They are playing Manchester United.

<doh> Yeah I forgot 18 is greater than 19. Small teams win more league titles, not less.
