its happening. He can deny government intervention as much as he likes but it looks daft saying they're an ally of ours and to then block a football club purchase. It just won't happen. I am sure the PL will get their pound of flesh though

I think there was a solicitor off camera because every time the question was asked where he was getting more irate he looks to his right and then answers. I reckon there was an advisor sitting nodding or shaking his head as to when he could answer honestly or refer to the old “no comment”
See I don’t think he will. He has clearly had to do the hard work behind the scenes. They will have the backing evidence to prove it. You know what the length of time and also detail with an approval speaks volumes in itself. They would be prepared, legally, for any challenge. That’s actually quite reassuring. The fact that the fat Scot was effectively saying “the government have told you to accept haven’t they” speaks volumes about what the guy was trying to achieve!
