I think it's people not understanding how the virus spreads, and those that it most afffects, the latter I mean where the consequence is death. It's a great idea of these youngsters to hold street parties, but although in the states it has a higher infection rate amoung them, it is not them that will die. It will be their grandparents. But trying to tell a youngster full of testostorone that, will be nigh impossible.

I think it’s less about not understanding it, and more about not giving a ****. They’d change their tune if their own family ended up being the victims like, but they seem happy enough to take that chance to me. Alcohol entering the arena again, will make it much worse imo. Okay, just show me your comprehension of the subject: I'm not a scientist (CSE Level 2 science), but I have a basic grasp, if stuff is explained slowly and patiently to me. What is the science behind the electro-magnetic waves produced by 5G altering the chemical- biological structure of a virus? If this is the case, it should be easy to reproduce in the lab under scientific conditions, and be peer reviewed accordingly.

So we're left with the conclusion:-

1) No, this is bogus.

2) Yes, it's the truth, and every biological scientist in the world is in on it.

So obviously it's 2.

The pub opening will be the cherry on the cake, but I can confirm that there seems to be bugger all social distancing here in York for over a month, and there's no pretence either. My next door neighbours had half the neighbourhood in their back garden the weekend before last, including several of them squeezed in their bubble pool thing. It so happens that the Mail is reporting York is more at risk than Leicester.

They may close shops and pubs again down the line, and get tough on public transport... but social distancing as in March and April just won't happen again. Insane, and it means that what we went through then was basically for nothing, but that's what I see here in my city.

The lockdown was then longer than it would have otherwise had to have been due to their previous dithering, and in their desperation to end it, they’ve released it too soon.

From the start of this disaster - the Treasury actions aside - it’s been nothing more than a succession of **** ups.
