To be fair, this is your problem.

You never just step back and think about how grindingly annoying you can be. There's never any let up, never a daft joke and never the slightest doubt that you're right and everyone else is wrong.

It would've been easier just to ban you, but you've been given the chance to back off and stop poking and prodding everyone.

I was asked to put my handbag down on a particular thread, so I did and stopped biting.

People lose it with you, swear, shout, etc, because you're so unbelievably patronising, which you know, and because you slyly accuse everyone of being a racist, which you also know.

The trouble is you're another Methven who thinks that we're all too thick to understand anything.

As the Mod says, you can post some valuable stuff, but don't make the mistake of thinking that you're better than the rest of us.

You've popped the old racism accusation at smug twice on this thread.
"For somebody who is so absolutely convinced that he knows what BLM is about and supports their aims, you sure are good at making the same arguments as racist white people in America."
"Oh and so you know, all these genuine racists in America, the ones who Bob and others have said are a blight on society? They literally, word for word, use the same arguments as you, but I'm sure that's just coincidence."

You're definately insinuating that smug is racist with comments like these like. This is why you have folk having a pop at you, you will say stuff then claim you haven't and play the victim card instead. And I didn't randomly scream ****e at you, I calmly typed out a post expressing my feelings. And at a guess, and it is only a guess mind, the reason I didn't get a warning as I wasn't just expressing how I feel about you but how a number of people on the board feel about you.

You're doing it now tbh, whinging on at being told to **** off instaed of dealing with some of the points raised. My biggest complaint against BLM is in their mission to 'liberate all black lives' is they managed to overlook millions of people in Africa who are in slavery today. Being a cynical jaded old bastard I might well think this is because it doesn't fit the evil white racist slaver narrative as it isn't white people doing the enslaving. I'm sure this isn't the case though and hopefully someone like yourself who does seem to be on board with it will be able to offer the real reason for this oversight, as I couldn't possibly be correct.

I notice that none of the knee bender rent a crowd/ what cause is it this week ilk have commented on Woody's post on the previous page.

Problem with some of these so called movements is they justify their actions and thoughts through the same medium that they criticise any other thoughts...

    The media.

lets's face it, all media is either right wing or left wing and they will want to sensationalise anything to get their views/readers.

None of that is remotely true about me @Smug in Boots and @Sandy Camel btw (or at least not my intention on any level). I don't think I'm always right (no more than you will be convinced you are right), I have given opinions and when challenged, I've largely been able to back up my opinions with at least some evidence I feel. People are free to disagree, it's a free forum - or so I believed.

I stand by every word I said about smug and even said numerous times that he wasn't racist, but that he does parrot the same lines as the hardcore racists in America. What is wrong with stating that exactly? Or should that never be pointed out?

In fact even when dealing with people who everyone here surely knows are quite open racists, I've not said it because it serves no purpose.

I believe what I'm saying just like you do, except when I say it, it's 'patronising' or whatever else you want to project.

I would be quite happy to leave it, but despite this being all my fault, I'm sure someone will find a way to have a sly petty dig because they disagree.

If you're going to say a person's comments are the same as a racist's comments, you are making them out to be racist, no matter how many times you say you're not. This is what is called making a sly dig, insinuating somoene is a something without making a direct accusation.

I'd like you to address the issues about BLM ignoring modern slavery if that's not too much bother. Make it all about yourself instead if you want but I am genuinely interested how 40 million people in modern day slavery don't get a mention when the 'liberation of all black lives' is the mission plan.

This is exactly my point. Smug says he's against racism, but uses those lines. I say that people elsewhere who are very much not against racism use those lines.

The latter is objectively true. I think it's a fair thing to point out. You don't.

So basically, we disagree. What's the problem?

Gotcha, so you're doing what you've done in your previous posts in relation to Smug by implying that he's rascist without actually saying the words.

Easy this implying lark isn't it.

He won't mate, just as he's chosen to ignore Woody's post. It just doesn't fit the narrative that some want us to believe.

So no mention of modern day slavery then or why it was overlooked by BLM and hasn't once been mentioned. Fair enough.

    The law according to @Kittenmittons:

    1. Agree with everything I, and BLM, say otherwise you're a vile racist.
    2. Say you're not a racist and you're obviously a racist
    3. Say you have black friends/family/colleagues and you're obviously a racist.
What an easy game to play.

Aye, I'm starting to come to that conclusion as he does have a brilliant habit of ignoring any issues raised. Modern day slavery? Nowt. England being global pioneers in the abolishment of the slave trade? Nowt. But if I think pulling down a statue and waving a placard is a waste of time that makes me lifetime president of the ****ing SS. Personally think it's a bit of a shame that protests that could have been a platform for a wider discussion and investigation into slavery and it's effects, both historical and modern day, has been turned into 'if you don't support BLM that makes you a racist'.

I'm on my lunch. If I get a chance I'll address your post sandy, sorry, meant to say that.

    1: nope.
    2: nope
    3: nope

    I don't have any law.

As I said. If you use the same arguments as racists, and you're uncomfortable with that being pointed out, that's not anyone else's fault.
