like I say it's easy to look good over a short period of time, but he's been spotted now for what he is .... ****e ... after 10 mins he looks like a man trying to eat candy floss in a wind tunnel and he's looks the same every minute of every match. he just runs about ... sorry but that's the easiest skill anyone can have.. he isn't even fast and he can't tackle ... I cannot see a single area of his game that's upto standard... not even running

I think part of the problem is he is no longer really runs about to be honest. That and his ability to retain the ball were easily his best traits. Without wanting to be harsh on the lad, I think I'd have them as two of his biggest weaknesses at present. Its easy to sit now and say "he's ****e" but there is a reason everyone on here, yourself included, was taken with the lad when he first broke through.
oh he runs about .. all over the plac but never does anything. In this league you need skills .. you need to be mobile as ****... he's like a lump of lead with no skill.
Matty yes tbh keeping both is good , but the reality is you need far better in this league in your 1st 11. There's other players come here and never get any time or any let off.. I think because they're local they get too much leeway..
Haydens useful, but again lacking in too many areas. half out 1st eleven look like something from sesame street on the ball quite frankly

As I say he doesn't run about now. Not with any intent anyway. An engine in the PL battlefield of the centre of the pitch is huge. But you must have quality to go with it in terms of control and playing. He did then hence we all, including yourself, thought he looked potentially great. That's all it is though, potential. The fans were right to be excited about his. Not every player realises their potential though and it may be he will not. There must be a reason however you jumped on the bandwagon getting carried away about him. To now suggest there was never anything there would make your original excitement over him seem somewhat weird?

There has been loads of players who at a young age just did not kick on. In fact when you look at it there’s only really been Dummett and Carroll that actually kicked on with any first team football that has come through the youth ranks under Ashley. I stand to be corrected mind as I honestly can’t think of that many more?
I would argue Carroll never did anything... he's survive purely due to prehistoric managers wanting to play hoofball.. he's always been ****..
basically Bruce has done well with what he's got imo.. If Ashley stays we won't do better than Bruce and he deserves to stay, but if the takeover happens im not sure it's q good idea .
True: it all went downhill after us but for us in the first stint he was good. He sighed for Liverpool at the same time as Suarez and was more expensive. How their careers went in different paths!
yep not sure it's a good idea. the last thing needed is for Ashley to get pissed and pull the plug ... the prem seem to want someone to pull out as it covers them
