I agree with this too. His time in Germany was spent on the wing. Our scouts have decided he will make a great striker in the PL because he's a big lad. So the manager is told he's a striker and has tried to use him there. However nothing in his instinct says striker. The key thing for me which highlights this is the runs he makes. He never ever bends a run along the line to get the charge on a defence, he never gets his arse in properly with a centre back to get a solid base, and most of all when you cut the ball across the box he is never breaking his neck for a tap in at front or back stick. The goal he scored the other week was a result of that kind of thinking but it ain't natural.
