Yeah he caught my attention because i got likes ocassionally. Think he changes his username quite often. We have a couple of people that do that, change their username every month of two. It's actually a good method, because it stops you easily back tracking their history to a certain degree.

Yeah he's a Gooner. He's actually alright when talking about football, but we are polar opposites when it comes to politics.

Overall a colossal **** on here.

Even more than the Spurs ****s on here ...

Do you fall asleep and wake up in the early hours or just not get to sleep at all?

Sleep is as important as food and water.

I just generally lay there trying to sleep for hours on end, I get up once up twice and then go back and try again. Next thing the birds are tweeting.

It’s ****e I used to suffer badly too, waking up about 7 minutes after falling asleep and unable to get back to sleep.

Combination of exercise, getting my thyroid sorted and some supplements helped me get back to normal sleep, then kids come along and ****ed it all up again.

A few things I find help with sleep.

    Cut out caffeine completely.

    Physically tire myself out.

    Get hammered.

Don't think about trying to get to sleep.

    I have tinnitus, it's a **** when it's quiet at night.

I used to post, but then El Tobo the J.O.B. fanboy got promoted and soon after, Brexit supporters were pretty much gagged.

Anyway, I'm happy just looking in these days and giving the odd like to fellow geriatric conservatives (intentional small c) <cheers>

I take responsibility for that. I felt there was a problem, in that everyone knew I was Brexit, it's not a hidden fact that I also voted Tory numerous times in the conditioning that went with that.

However, where I drew the line was my good nature in moderation, being used as some sort of ok for propaganda posting of extreme right wing views. I'm not even going to explain what I mean by that, just go to GC and ppl can see for themselves.

So I thought about it, how can I bring the balance that I wanted...it was an easy choice to be fair, it should also not go un-noticed that Tobes has actually helped me avoid a few bans too.

Everyone is welcome, but the democracy some search for (brexiters) in defence is way too time consuming.

Anyway, I can make a good job of pissing people off on my own <whistle>

I have high blood pressure and get a “beat” or a swoosh in my ear which was keeping me up awake most nights. Doctor said to play background music or listen to a podcast.

so got myself some wireless AirPods and created various playlists to listen to.

also listen to some TED talks - which are almost guaranteed to make you sleep as they are so boring!

another technique I use to avoid thinking about being awake is to think of a particular situation and play it out in your mind.
I have various “scenes” I play out to get me asleep:
    - thinking I have won the lottery and how much would I share with all my family or friends, and then what I would spend my share on.
    - managing a sports team, my favourite being baseball, and I then think of all the tactics etc.

Every night I combine the music playlist and play out the “scenes” and it works for me as its basically tricking the brain into switching off eventually.

Another suggestion is to turn on TV and watch something ****e as you will get bored and fall asleep - watching fishing channel or GOD squad channels are good for boredom

My preferred method for insomnia has been to get an addiction to heavy benzodiazepines <whistle>
