Definitely. We now know that it is indeed real, has not been failed and is down to the PL's inability to make a decision. There needs to be a regulatory body that oversees the PL and FA's decision making to ensure fairness. They are like Local Authorities - unaccountable for their incompetence.

However I am thinking Bruce is going double standards here and using it as a smoke screen to cover up what was a shocking first half. There's no need for a smoke screen ... man citys squad is worth so much more money its sickening and that was the issue.. the tactics nearly worked.. I'm no Bruce fan, but he's got the job done and last night really is just about quality. There's nothing Bruce or shearer can say that will speed up the takeover.. they know nothing and in Bruce's case he's not so much speaking for the fans he's after knowing for himself. No stupid penalty, Gayle somehow isn't the worst striker in ****ing Toon history and we could be 1-0 up. Yesterday showed just how poor the PL has actually become. The reputation of the PL suffers due to games like yesterday. There shouldn't be that that type of gulf in a league that lauds itself as being the best in the world. Best means competitive in the sense that every tean can beat each other. Pass this deal and another side becomes competitive.
