We’re not in the prem and neither are you. Waste of time this thread at the mo. Will be back if it ever becomes relevant
If we get promoted I expect Rads to cash in and we will be sold to the QSI group who will pump millions in. This honestly isn't a wind-up post, I honestly expect it to happen. Bielsa will see it as job done and won't like the new owners so will leave. The new owners will want a manager or coach who can handle the big name signings that they are looking to bring in so it will all work out okay.
All you will get regarding start of next season is it may start, it could start, we think it will start, it should start, in other words your guess is as good as mine, however one point to note, next season will be the 29th of the premier league. Anything else you may need to know please ask
Rumoured to be middle of September. Personally would rather it not start until fans are allowed back but TV companies will need their product so it will commence as soon as they can.
Surely that will need to be. Informed shortly. Teams will need a few weeks to recover from this nine game setup and then a proper pre season. Also a hell of a lot of stuff to iron out for promoted and relegated teams
At the moment UEFA are planning to resume the CL/EL in August so by the time those competitions have concluded there won't be any time for those clubs to have an end of season break, at best they'll get a couple of weeks and then more or less straight into the new season. For teams like us it will be a difficult choice, whether to give the players a month off, or maybe just a couple of weeks. There certainly won't be anything like the usual pre season with numerous friendlies etc. Also so many unanswered questions about U23's and youth football as well with regards to safety protocols and resuming playing/training.
Unless the players are going to agree to forego wages then there is no choice but to just keep on playing (covid 19 permitting).
