I'd prepare myself for more of the same, from all quarters, if I were a $ity fan. This is just the tip of the ice-berg. You assemble about 50 of the worlds best players, presumably by appealing to their egos (as well as their wallets) by telling them that they will definitely get playing time (relying, of course, on the footballer's general lack of intelligence to realise that 50 into a starting XI does not go), and then expect them to be satisfied with failing to make it to the bench, let alone the starting XI. It surely does not take much brain power to work out that the general levels of discontentment at your club has been at boiling point for quite some time. You have very talented players who go into training every morning knowing that they will never get a first team match. Can someone explain to me (and to themselves) how on earth that is going to be anything other than destructive? So, sit back and watch the fireworks, because the show has only just begun
