I'm getting a little worried. After tonights result our favourite other club, Millwall, look to be in dire trouble. Do you think they've got the fight in them to stay up or are they doomed. I for one will miss TC and his excellent bookies service, Mighty and his excellent posts!! and finally Steve with his undying infatuation for TC and Mighty. Come on The Wall get out there and find the Eye of the Lion!! Cue Rocky music!!
You won't lose us that easily chaps, this bad run is a mere blip and normal service will be resumed soon enough. I think this is a wake up call to some of our fans who seemed to think we would improve on last seasons 9th position, we won't not until the inflated wages of most players in this division come down to somewhere near what our players earn. In simple terms we can't compete with most of the sides in this division when it comes to signing promising players, so we are going to struggle to do better than these teams, we could go down the road and start paying silly money to reach the promised land, but as there are about 5 or 6 other teams that have already done so it would be a huge gamble. We need to battle for our place in this division and wait for the fallout when these other clubs hit the brickwall coming their way. Obviously our Leeds friends won't fall victim to the carcrash coming as Ken hasn't splashed out as others have.
Im glad there are people who are in a worse position than us! Millwall sold theyre only good player atleast we have a lot of good players
****ing whether I was talking about the 70s or now it makes no difference Millwall have always and will always be ****
Kuntnorbo (really clever by the way) changing cunning into ****ing, who'd of thought such comedic genius would come from a gravy swilling ken bates rent boy such as yourself. Were going through a bad patch I admit but if i recall have you not been in the same division as us for the past few years? So, by that token would you not also yourself be, ****? Unless of course you are reffering to the "glory days" which would therefore prove the point of my first post. As for not beating kisnorbo...
A lot Kisnorbo?, a couple is nearer the truth, which with your crowds 2 and a half times bigger than ours is a very poor show don't you think?
We have been in the same league for years but am I right in saying we have finished above you every time? I don't refer back to the glory years, I dont need to Im proud of the club as it is now, with a great squad despite lack of investment and the best fans around! I have pride in been a Leeds fan, TBH I like most Millwall fans who venture over here, but you my friend are a cock
Totally agreed Ringo, it is rather embarrasing tbh but what can we do? u just gotta support whoevers wearing the shirt. We do have a lot of good players ; Lonergan White Lees Clayton Howson Snodgrass Nunez Becchio McCormack Keogh Thats just a few
Lonergan - Average White - Average Lees - Not noticed him before Clayton - Steady Howson - I rate him Snodgrass - Good when things are going well, goes missing when the chips are down Nunez - Useless Becchio - Your best player by far McCormack - Having a good run at the moment, jurys out on this one Keogh - Nothing special Every fan could name half their squad as something special Kisnorbo, sometimes you need an outsider to say it as it is.
You have definately stated that we had a couple of good players but in that list uve admitted more than a coupld Did you rate kasper Schmeichel? Lonergan is a great all round keeper Lees will be good with experience Clayton is a miles better player than Howson Snoddy is awful so far this year Nunez blows hot and cold
Kisnorbo, Howson and Becchio are the ones that i praised, Snodgrass and McCormack were the others that can do it or have done it on occasions. No i never rated Schmeichel, lives on his dads reputation when the dog on Coronation Street is nearer the mark.
he had his worst game for us against u but thats maybe y I think Lonergan is so good because of the act he had to follow Kisnorbo is too slow since the injury he picked up against u boys, can we buy Robinson? Ken will give you a bag of Crisps and Graysons Rolex for him pleeeeeeaaaassee
Wellens isnt fit to lace Claytons boots! TBH Clayton isnt the finished article yet, but he's nearly there, and when he gets there he is gonna be un-be-lievable!!! He's already our best midfielder (slightly better than Howson IMO)
Robinson is one of them rare commodities in football where he is a one team player and would die for the shirt, however if a Premiership club came in for him you couldn't blame him going for a slice of the cake that can be earned in Lala land. Although he could earn there times more at another championship club i don't think he could be swayed to leave us.
