    I don't like Alioski starting, he does wander offside quite a bit and I really don't like him at LB, he is a great player to come on as a sub and he can make a difference. I'd say same starting 11 but switch Harrison and Costa to opposite wings. The games are going to come thick and fast and I think having the option to bring Alioski and Pablo on at half time gives us both strength and options. Giving Pablo 2-3 games of 45 minutes is probably far more beneficial than trying to get two 90 mninutes out of him within a few days.

    I'd even be tempted as someone else suggested give Douglas and Costa a chance together down the left with Dallas on the bench for a game, we are probably going to need to rest a few players

    Personally, I don't think it's time to try out new things when the tried & trusted has carried us so far. The other thing to note is that there seems to be a wide belief that Douglas is on his way at the end of the season. I also suspect that this might have been tried in training & might have been unspectacular as it hasn't reached a live match.

    Just sayin'. :)

    Even when we're winning and top of the league some supporters just can't resist asking for change.

    Are we supposed to admire their constant drive for perfection or point out the folly of meddling with what's clearly working ?

    Dallas needing a rest after 2 matches obviously falls into the folly category.

    The flip side is that it was visibly notable that when Harrison switched to the right and Alioski was working the left the whole game turned on its head.

    Alioski scored, Harrison got a goal and an assist.

    It was a notable change and a noticeable difference in the way we were playing. It's only natural that fans pick up on this and run with it.

    There'd be hell on if he resorted back to yesterdays first half team and performance against Luton and we lost the game. Of course, the view of not changing for changing sake is equally valid.

    You've deliberately failed to give deseverved credit for a great run down the right wing by Costa, followed by a superb cut back to Bamford for the first goal. As we all know the first goal is particularly vital in any game but especially to this Leeds side. Without that goal there probably wouldn't have been those opportunites to counter attack that we took so brilliantly in the second half.

    Undoubtably though we needed to change something as Fulham had by far the best of the first half. That change was to bolster the midfield as Tyler Roberts was too much of an attacking luxury from a positional sense given the Fulham formation and quality of their play.

    Maybe I'm being harsh, but when you post that Bamford is the worst player you've ever seen in a Leeds shirt in my eyes you've somewhat lost credibility as a judge of football, systems and specifically players. Personally I don't have a worst player to ever wear the shirt in my mind, but there's no doubt that there are many over the years that have been inferior to Bamford and his finish yesterday in a vital game was top class.

    Don't like to single out individual players as I'm sure they don't choose to be woeful.

    However, I'll throw one out there for comparision to Bamford as he was also a striker and on a huge wage as I remember...

    Noel Hunt;
    22 games and zero goals over 2 seasons (2013/14 & 2014/15).

    Patrick Bamford;
    60 games and 23 goals over 2 seasons (with 7 to play) 2018/19 & 2019/20.
