I've not read back what or who you are talking about but the herd mentality take is correct....... An example was when I spoke to Labour supporters who didn't like Corbyn but when questioned why they didn't really know and just regurgitated the mainstream medias negatives.

2me he was a man who gave a fk but the tactics worked and now they got thy man in place to take the labour party further from its origins and stuck up Israeli arses so far you will need a plunger to get us out.

not really as the only stat that matters is the excess deaths figure at the end of this which is the way we calculate the "cost" of all epidemics .

No he didn't answer is own question his reason for asking was he thinks he didn't die from covid but, he may have picked up the virus but it was his original illness which took him.

Same happened with a guys father in work with me and he was not happy covid was claimed as cause of death but the body would not have been released for burial for up to ten weeks if he wanted postmortem.

I was mocked for my claim.....yet I'm hearing more stories of families with the same situation....... Even if you died from a bike crash and you had covid when tested by poor accuracy testing equipment you didn't die from decapitation it was the virus on death certificate.

complete & absolute bollocks if for no other reason than they wouldn't waste a test as even the most incompetent medic can have a fair guess of what caused the death of a headless man .
As has been explained before death certs these days can contain cause of death plus underlying condition so may read
Cause of Death - Covid 19
    Underlying condition - Alzheimers

otherwise quarter of all death certs would just show pneumonia as sole cause of death as per early years of AIDS .

The 'original illness' here was not eating or drinking due to Alzheimer's . that wouldn't have killed him in hospital ... what clearly did was the virus ... hence given as the cause of death.

Seems plenty of warnings about the Sudanese guy in Glasgow and his mental health, but as per, it appears nothing was acted upon. This was despite a liason officer telling his lawyer, he is a danger!

You can't coup someone up like that in a pigeon hole and not expect a reaction. He had been isolated for the previous three weeks, due to contracting coronavirus. My guess is he never received any proper support during that period, but only time will tell. If you cage an animal, and it gets out, it's going to bite you.

At least we will not have to worry about the lethal injection with this one.

Just been reading about a “pool testing” idea they are proposing in the US. To summarise, they collect a small amount of blood from x number (maybe residents from a nursing home) mix it together and test that. If it’s all clear great, if not then they individually test. They claim they could test up to 5 million a day in this way.
Gimmick or does this have some legs?

In theory it might work I suppose, provided the dilution doesn't render detection more difficult. The problem is that if you do get a positive sample then you have to test ALL the same people over again rather than just the once - so in terms of time saving that might be self defeating.

The other stumbling block is that Trump is not going to welcome any mechanism that shows the true infection levels of the virus before the election - it would"make us look bad" as he puts it - and the reality is that the real level is likely to be way higher than the current official level.

I agree with the first part and think that the ship has already sailed on the second part.

Reading an interesting article at the moment that’s saying that Trump is now desperately clinging to the daily death rates seemIng to have flattened around 600 a day, compared to the 2000+ back in April.
A leading expert is however saying that the current rises are highest in young people, who typically manage the virus better. He goes on too say that it’s inevitable that the young will start to infect the older, more vulnerable population and death rates will raise significantly.
