Aye, but let's keep mentioning anything printed about our boys as since SNQ left there's been nowt positive. We need these chancers chased out of town
 
This all sounds so sad. Reminds me of when our previous owner gave us no option but to give him full control, got us into a spiralling debt and almost into administration/non league football. It was only Gareth Ainsworth's leadership that kept us in the League. Then we got rid of the owner and became a club owned by the fans, which raised morale and consequently our league status. However, that wasn't a sustainable model and we looked for a new owner. Almost made the same mistake again but fan pressure got rid of a potential owner who would have been a disaster (once bitten etc). Morale began to slip again, along with performances but then along came our knight in shining armour.

We wish you luck and hope that the club morale can enjoy an upward turn and be reflected on the pitch. Then you will be back in the Championship in no time <cheers>

Agreed, tough times ahead for someone who is committed to the club, unfortunately that's not been the case of the current owners who've looked for the quick profit since day one.

When we were looking for someone to invest (leading to our current owner) we were, at the time, owned by the fans. and there had to be a 75% vote by the "Trust members" in favour of the change of ownership. One potential investor (a couple of Americans with several companies) smelt of vultures looking to get hold of our ground for housing and although the board recommended them I think the investors got a clear message from the fans and buggered off. Then along came our current owners and they got a 95% approval. A real family of people who are dedicated to making the club a success. No big ideas, just get the club on a sound footing and climb from there. They are very popular with the fans. On top of that we have the longest serving manager in the FL and he is on a long contract. That brings stability and that is just what your club needs. Hopefully it won't just be a case of who will cough up. I know that it's nothing to do with me, but if it is feasible, I would try to get the fans to take over the club and then look for an investor that you can trust.

Good plan, but the price for our club would be a lot more than it cost for yours? Am I right in thinking The Chairboys? (A friend who is a ST thinks they have returned all of their loan players which usually accounts for a high % of the squad? Also the feeling is that they cannot afford to get promoted (they had a study done a year ago)? So they may not be trying too hard in the playoffs)

A lot more. Here is a link to our squad which I keep up to date. I haven't heard anything about the QPR loanees.

I don't know how you would get hold of the club but I was just concerned that you could get lumbered with a vulture
