Name calling and wishing someone dead While actual bodily harm and attempted murder seem to be less important
There's a difference between calling people names and saying things like "Hope they (Celtic fans) all die."
Is wishing someone dead a crime? Honest to god, they are making up crimes and chasing geeks in their bedrooms while letting knife wielding thugs run free in the streets
A prison sentence probably is using a sledgehammer to crack a nut but that doesn't mean it's wrong for the police to pursue idiots like this guy. Whether or not there's gangs of knife-wielding murderers <dailymailpcgonemadeyoucouldntmakeitup> roaming the streets is an entirely separate issue. If it takes a few prison sentences for people to realise that the views expressed by this ****nut are not acceptable, then so be it.
The other point that people seem to be missing is that he's just got out of prison after a 12 month stretch and he goes and does that. He's clearly a zoomer and better off the streets.
who cares if his views are acceptable? they are his views. are nick griffins views acceptable? why not jail him?
There's obviously a fine line between the rights to freedom of speech and the rights of others not to be subjected to sectarianism/racism/whatever. I'd say publicly expressing that you hoped every member of a particular group would die probably steps over that line
He's a moron, but PC hardmen are hardly the type of folk that we should be jailing when so many arseholes avoid jail.
all the daft **** had to say was - I left my laptop / PC on and someone went on my facebook. how can anyone possibly prove he wrote the so called "bile?"
